The truth for me is that I am not really looking at the wins and losses(of course I want us to win), I'm looking at rotations, improvements and a reduced reliance on lbj so much during the regular season so he will be a little fresher during the PO

I think I want a more balanced scoring approach especially against teams like tonight....we're burning this guy out, he's not even getting the same calls.....I wanted BOSH to be more aggressive and stop thinking he has to pass so much, you know play a little more like he did in Toronto when lbj is not on the floor.

i guess that makes me selfish

LeBron really needs 2 wow against KD, Jan. 29. People need to be remembered who's the King.

and therein lies the problem...ERIC seams to feel the same way the way he plays him - no offense heat fan

Violet Palmer says hello....

Palmer has been in the game a long time. Lauren Holtkamp is like Michael Jordan in his rookie season -- you know she's gonna be the GOAT, it's just a matter of time.

No! Especially not when taking into consideration your playing a back to back to end a very demanding roadtrip while being in a rut. If anything, this is the kind of win you want; a grind it out win. A lace your bootstraps, grab your lunchpale and get to work win. This is the the first step to pulling yourself out of a rough patch. The defense finally showed some life and your Heat showed grit and determination down the stretch defensively despite being absolutely exhausted. I mean seriously, LeBron missed dunks; proof of exhaustion.

Blowing the Celtics out would lull the Heat into thinking they can just flip a switch and get by due to talent alone. That's the kind of dangerous thinking you DON'T want.

Your team is currently fighting through adversity and instead of cheering your team on to push and fight, some of you are legitimately rooting AGAINST your team. It's disgusting. The defense finally showed a pulse, the offense looked promising with fresh bodies, and Oden continues to improve. It's no coincidence the offense looked sharp when the game was young...

You have a lot of players coming off of injuries and/or playing through them. The guys will round into form with some repetition.

This guy knows his stuff. Too many fans in here spoilt as hell and expect perfection. Rooting against the team. Pathetic.

It seems from LeBrons comments that he's growing tired of Wade's play 1 game sit out 3 routine

Easy talk? Not really. What he said was true regardless of the win or loss. If we lost posters in here would be bitching like no tmrw and writing the team off in January. That **** just pisses me off as a fan when I see other fans just giving up on the team and **** ting on them through a bad stretch of basketball. Every year since the Big 3 this team has struggled in January, yet posters in here still haven't learned that no championship is won in the winter. If they want January dominance, go watch Indiana or OKC. The same posters writing the team off now are gonna be dick riding the hardest in June. Reminds of the the fans that left game 6 early.

As he should, it's a terrible strategy. Spo isn't Pop and he doesn't have the young roster Pop has that affords him the luxury to rest his vets. An old body like Wade's needs repetition because lately he's looked like crap even with rest. Meanwhile LeBron and company are playing through injuries and risking even worse injuries because they're being run into the ground.

Just curious(outsider here with no allegiance to any team, although I was a Warriors fan for many years), but what type of contract (years and dollars) do you all think Wade will get vs what he should get?

Scrub of the night-

That's right, you guessed it.
Joel freaking Anthony. Best center in nba history.

7 mins, 2 points, 3 rebounds, 1/1FG

I think he has as many rebounds as he's had this season with us >.>

his high level of play (when he's actually on the court) will get him something like 3-4 years 12-13 mil per. if I had to pick definite numbers i'd say 3 years 36 mil...

that's what I think he will get. what he SHOULD get (imo) is something like 2 years with a team option on the third year at somewhere around 10 mill per.

it also depends if wade is willing to take a paycut. he probably realizes this is his last chance to get substantial money so he might do something similar to kobe. if it was purely about money though he'd probably not opt out and make 20 mill next year and 21 mill the year after.

for reference westbrook is making ~ 16 mill next year, harden's making ~ 15, wall and George are making ~ 14. I really don't think wade should be getting any more compensation than those players. he can still play at a higher level than them but age is a huge factor when offering long-term contracts.

The analogy to Westbrook, Harden, Wall and George is flawed because their respective teams offered them the maximum salary they could receive. If it was an open market right now, all of them would receive raises over their current salary and, pending any major injury, will be offered such once it's time to renew their contracts.

As for Wade, if his current issues hold up, I agree with 12-13 mil per year, but if he can go on a tear shortly before and then after the ASB and have good playoffs, we're talking about different figures. It's too early to determine his salary just yet.

You know who scored a lot points like Durant . Mcgrady case close. I kind of like durant but he won't do what he needs to do on defense to pass Lebron in his prime.

Durant's D is much improved actually. Infact he has improved every part of his game and he is only 25.
