Along with Paul George lying about his concussion... I don't understand why NBA teams have to be so shady about their players injuries... too many "miracle recoveries" make the league look like a lamely scripted WWE or something.

Lame lame lame :nonono:

That's actually a good thing for us, I want OKC-Spurs to go 7 games with triple OT.

Why not 20 overtimes? :o

I know.. I am just lamenting about all this stupid suspense and drama caused by injuries... just shut the **** up and play!

I personally think that OKC will still put up a good fight against Spurs with/without Ibaka. It doesn't look good after first 2 games, but one game can swing the momentum and we've seen that happen before.

It ain't over til one team wins 4 games.

Good news for the MVP and the Thunder!

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka has a strong possibility of playing in Sunday's Game 3 of the Western Conference finals after the team upgraded him to day-to-day, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Ibaka went through a battery of tests on Thursday and his calf responded well. He injured the calf during Game 6 of the Thunder's second-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers, after which team officials declared him out for the remainder of the postseason.

Despite the prognosis of a four-to-eight-week time frame for the injury to heal, Ibaka had pushed to return, believing he could play through the pain.

Is it too late? What will Ibaka bring? Thoughts?

Not sure if it's good news, considering if he worsens his calve injury to the point that he needs surgery, Brooks is getting fired.

You know the Spurs are going to try to pick up the pace to test his legs.

What a f*cking idiot. I feel like he takes MIA to lose in virtually ever series of playoffs for the last 3 years. Yet somehow, we are on the road to threepeat.

Why does this piece of sh*t still have a job anyway? He is either too stupid and his basketball knowledge doesn't exceed that of a dried plum or he is just such a bitter hater that he will never say anything that isn't clouded by his blind hatred and be stupid again. Either way, the closest he should come to basketball, carrer wise, is cleaning toilets in the AAA.

Rapid healing? Typical time frame is one to two months? Shortened to about a week?

Human Growth Hormone.

Boy Scott Brooks is going to get axed for this. I don't see how this ends well. Your whole team sans Fisher and Caron are very young. Retool and try again next year. Putting Ibaka's career on the line ain't worth it.

That's far from bull****. I can't speak for you specifically, but a lot of people watch that First Take show, just to hear what the guy spews about anything related to Miami, OKC, San Antonio, and tons of other sports topics. I'll be honest, I used to be all in on that show, especially over the last couple years as we were making the Finals, and winning it back-to-back. We beat both of the teams he roots for, and naturally I got hooked being the avid Heat I am. But at some point, the show got stale to me and I haven't watched it once since the beginning of the year.....I'd rather listen to real basketball analysis as opposed to two clowns debating for entertainment. That's just me though...

So you are no longer listening to him because... your knowledge of basketball had risen the last couple of years and now you rather listen to real analysis? That's what I said, he doesn't know jack sh*t. That, or he knows that everybody hates the Heat and is saying what he is just to keep his viewers. Either way, he does not belong in the basketball world.

I understand, he's not analyzing, he's entertaining. Cool. But the only thing I find entertaining is that idiot look on his stupid face when we win the championship.

Do you really think that it's me (and anyone else) mentioning him and his moronic delusions what's keeping him in his job and not the viewers of the show?

Is it creepy that the same thing happened to me? At the same time?

I mean the exact same thing. I don't even watch ESPN outside of sporting events lols.

Skip also said Spurs would win in 6 last year

But Ray said HELL NAW

And even then he still couldn't admit defeat

Anyway that OKC-SAS series... 2 years ago didn't OKC win 4 in a row after being down 2?

Its a different team and time but I wouldn't count OKC out until they are like 3-0 or 3-1

This is actually 100% factual lol. I've watched First Take two times in my life and it was the morning after our last 2 championships lmao.
