His lack of defense or rebounding is why hes not in the rotation.

he's more important vs the Thunder than the Spurs. vs OKC that means Ibaka has to guard one of Bosh or Lewis, and thus is away from rim = driving lanes or post-ups galore for Wade/Lebron. And he can be stashed on Perkins or Collison or even Ibaka defensively without doing too much damage to us (Adams might destroy him on the offensive glass though).

Against the Spurs, he has to guard one of Duncan or Splitter and that's a problem. Unless they stick with the Red Rocket in the starting lineup, in which case we are golden lol.

My feeling is that Miami is going to render the Splitter/TD combo useless like last year and force them to start either Manu or Diaw/Bonner. Lewis can't guard Splitter that well but if the Spurs try to exploit that match-up that works in our favor because it means their 3 point shooters are not getting that many touches and Splitter is going to have a hard time guarding Lewis on the perimeter.

Spurs-Miami will be another smallball battle like it was from games 4-7 last year.
