Battier used to get under players' skin

It's what made him great in Memphis and Houston and that's what's been missing from Battier's game the past year or two. He used to get under players' skin defensively, then hit a 3 on the other end of the court to troll on them harder. If he could get back to doing that, he has another year or two in this league. Watching his highlights last night, I was damn proud of him to be the one to get back at Lance Stephenson for all his antics. And quite surprised that it would be him, of all the Heat players. He's always been a nice guy off the court, but he started carrying that onto the court the past year or two, which has hurt him as a player.

Here's to hoping that Battier can do for us in the Finals what he did in Game 6.

I expect Battier to come up big in the Finals, he's came up HUGE in the past two NBA Finals against both the Spurs or Thunder

gonna miss battier. i agree with you but i think he rides off into the sunset if we hopefully three-peat

I don´t know what you´re expecting at this point... He came up huge in our last championship with those 5 3´s, hustle, effort and defence. He has given us all his got and at this age he is still sacrificing his body with the dives and charges.

Trust me if he had more to give he would have, I believe this is his final season.

when we're making 3's we're almost unbeatable.

Doesn't matter if it's Battier, Miller, Lewis. Guys on this team will get open looks.

If Lewis and Battier get on a roll, I love our chances.

Battier is for the Finals.

He will come up huge soon enough....
