Yes, your love is showing. When Lebron wanted to play in game #1 and his body wouldn't cooperate ... was that him coasting, or making excuses?![]()
Bad knees are not a lack of conditioning ... bad knees can result in lack of conditioning though.NBA82 wrote:If the knees are done, they're done. But catering to him like he's 40 years old is not in the best interest of the team, and it didn't do him a whole hell of a lot of good, either. He came up shortest when needed most.
What's your alternative plan? You want to force Wade to play through his knee flareups so we can secure those all important regular season wins vs the Bucks and the Pistons? That should come in real handy in the postseason. People like you are whining about Lebron having to rely on lesser players during the regular season due to Wade restingjust imagine him having to rely on lesser players in the playoffs.
Face the facts, we need Wade in the postseason ... that means that we have to do whatever needs doing to preserve his knees during the season.
LeBron was having trouble moving at all. He wasn't preserving his energy for offense and lolling around on defense/failing to get back in transition...
Wade sucked on both ends of the court, but you choose to believe that the suck on the defensive end was due to lack of effort and not injury? Like I said, the love is showing.
