Yeah, I was wrong, the players can speak with other teams. The rule was changed during 2011 CBA.

No, even in 2010 Lebron, Wade, Bosh Amare were all able to meet with other teams starting Jul 1st, but couldn't sign till July 10th. This rule has been in place for quite some time now. It's just that most people were never so hardcore invested in NBA free agency till about 2010, thus no one remembers.

I might be wrong, but I thought they extended the moratorium from 7 days to 10.

But yeah, they definitely could talk during the moratorium in the last CBA.

I mean, I guess I could understand an undercover account started, like, a week ago? Someone actually believes that Prime Wade> Prime LeBron. I totally agree with you LeBron is phenomenal but Wade was better in his prime... Once the injury's caught up with Wade he slowed down... If Bron leaves we should start that topic! Let's bring back the rivalry between each other

All that he said is this is a bunch of noise, how everyone is shooting in the dark and pulling stuff out of their asses but it's the tone of his voice saying to trust the organization, trust the team that is calming...he then threw out the following HYPOTHETICAL (put it in caps so folks won't think it's a source)
If you had to choose between having an answer today but things being what they are or waiting until Friday knowing the Heat chances are better, which would you choose?
And he said today based on what he knows and based on his trust in the organization.

He is connected to the organization, don't know how much but the guy has been in the Heat parade before and has a ring given by the Heat so, take it for what it's worth.
