Then I get at LBJ, and repeat this very line "bosh 15 mil, wade 5 mil, king max, return Melos call"
Game over
You have to put all your chips on the table
If I was Riley I would enter the meeting room, approach Lebron, shake his hand and say :
"If you think Cleveland can do it better, good luck to you" and calmly exit.
Thats the most "Riley" thing ever. Put the onus on him. He'll feel that bit of "doubt" cause he knows Riley will be working to build another champion. Some fear in LeBron could be a good thing.
Back to the songs!

Varejao played 65, 25, 25 and 31 games the past 4 seasons
Irving played 71, 59 and 51 in the last 3 seasons
Love played 77, 18, and 55 in the last 3 seasons

Also lebron is going to take full max if he goes to Cleveland, kyrie is already taking a full max extension, and presumably Kevin Love is only traded if he signs for full max. That is the whole salary cap, and you've got varejao on his final year and probably looking for 10 mill, Putting you just about at luxury tax and you've got dion waiters, tristan Thompson and Anthony Bennett all a year or two away from extensions. Will the Cavs be happy to delve far into the luxury tax to keep any depth on the roster?
Either of the injury prone Cavs big three (Irving, love) goes down and there is trouble getting back on track. Also think that Miami with bron is a far better draw for FA for the min than Cleveland with bron

It's still all conjecture. We don't know what they have lined up, and who they're actually talking to. I saw an article that had Cavs talking to James Jones ffs.
I'm craving news as much as anyone, but the amount of pure speculation that's going on is ridonkulous!
I just want (like most of us) for him to hurry up and say what he's doing. I think it won't happen until after the skills camp is over, which happens to be the day before Houston has to match the offer sheet on Parsons. So, there's likely to be a torrent of news - Bron, Bosh, Parsons all within 24 hours, then depending on what Bron does Melo, Wade, Deng, Gasol & Ariza will commit within a day or so after that. Then Lance, Bledsoe & Monroe will likely get offers from teams with cap space, or S&T offers.
This would be really cool if I weren't a fan of a team with a vested interest in any of those FAs

LeBron probably went into the meeting ready to tell Riley he's leaving. After the meeting, he ain't so sure anymore.
I'd be surprised if Riley even takes Rich Paul seriously.

LeBron started to say goodbye, and then Riley said: "Hold on, LeBron, I think there's someone else you should say that to." Then a door opened and in walked Carmelo Anthony rocking a Miami Heat hat.
In an instant, LeBron James became "undecided" all over again.
I can dream, can't I?

Afterwards Riley and Rich Paul chatted. It went something like this.
