Wouldn't it make sense for Cleveland and Miami to complete sign and trade deals with Deng & Lebron? That way Miami can use the full MLE on McRoberts rather than cap space?

too late, Cleveland already renounced Deng to sign Lebron outright.
It also would've helped Cleveland out, given them their MLE, which they could've used to sign Birdman away or ink Mike Miller, and I don't think the Heat are in the business of doing them any favors right now

I fear it just ended James Eniss's Career. You know Spo won't play him enough now, He'll play Deng 38 Minutes and Granger will play before him too. He'll never develop like he could have.
Whatever. At least it's just 2 years. We need to make sure UD and Wade are off the books at the same time..start planning for maximum cap space in 2016.
Ennis can play the back up 2.
He's a SF in size and skillset. Playing him out of position is exactly what you do to **** up his development. I can already see it coming.
Eh, Durant started as a 2 and it didn't mess up his development. KG started as a 3. Wade and Lebron started as 1s. Pretty normal for a player to start a position or two "smaller", his role is going to be very limited off the bat anyway, he'll be asked to be more James Jones than Ray Allen

Salaries don't come close to matching anyway and the Cavs don't really have filler salary on their roster. I can't see a trade working without becoming some multi-player mammoth deal.
