We were top 3 defense last year.

Benching bogut and iguodala in the 4th didn't helped either.

You guys outscored us 32-13 in 4th lmao.

Don't worry bro, you'll kick our ass twice when it really counts. Unlike us, you actually have a competent guy at the head coaching realm, rookie year and all.

Come on man, I'm not buying Steve Kerr being a good coach yet. I definitely need to see more. The teams with the best records in the preseason all have new coaches (Jazz, Cavs, Warriors), because new coaches push harder in the preseason to set the tone. I'm not buying him being a better coach the Spo, atleast not yet.

Man shut up. No need to be licking warrior fans ass for no reason.

Licking ass for being honest? Sorry but right now I don't have confidence in this team and our coaching staff to beat good teams like the Warriors when it counts.

I think Kerr will a be a good coach but its premature to say he's above Spo when he hasn't been through the regular season let alone a playoff series

Sorry that I don't quite hold Spo in the same regard as you. He's had it easy the previous 4 years coaching (it pains me to say this because i'm not too fond of him right now) the best player in the world. Before that he was coaching a top 3 player in Wade who carried the team on his shoulder to 2 playoff appearances. Just because he's a Riley disciple, that doesn't make him a good coach. Kerr is unproven but I'd take a chance on him over Dopestra right now.

I don't look at Spo as a Riley or Pop caliber type coach but I just don't think its possible to win it all in this league with a coach who's incompetent. It is definitely one of the most important positions on the team and we can't disregard a coach just because he has great players playing for him

Keep in mind that Alvin Gentry is our new assistant coach who's alone better than Spo, Kerr isn't bad either.

I'm glad he did!!

I was just making a joke, referencing our last year's feelings about Lewis (my sig) and coach Spo's comments about Williams.

Edit: Did you create a new account just to quote me on this? :o

Really? The guy that has had plenty of chances with capable rosters is better than the guy that has never missed the playoffs and has four finals appearances with two championships?
Please don't take someone's vocal and personal dislike for coach Spo as an opportunity to troll.

Alvin Gentry aint $hit lol. And the fact that he is doing the X and O's over Kerr means Kerr aint $hit. They may seem good because they took over a talented team though.

He swept the spurs with next to nothing and went to the western conference finals in 2010 as a head coach..... yeah he sucks... do some research bro.

I found it funny that miami heat posted on face book that we won and showed a picture of wade being covered by klay lol. when in actuality we won because wade was on the bench. I have a feeling there will be a lot of times wade will need to be on the bench, hopefully spo doesn't cost us games in the name of loyalty.

also, ^ foh troll. talking out your ass about gentry.

^ It's Wade county, what do you expect? Even if you think he's completely declined and will average 15ppg he is still respected due to his resume with the Heat. I mean how many times did we see LeBron on the front page of ESPN when the Heat win even though at times it may have been Bosh or Wade that really lead us to the win. He's the captain of the team.

It's preseason. I wouldn't take anything too positive or negative away from any of these games. New faces need time to gel. They'll figure it out. I'm just glad Bosh has reasserted himself as a superstar forward. My dude's got game.

Alvin Gentry. We remember him well. Went 15-21 coaching the HEAT in 1994-95 before Pat Riley took over and fired his ass

You continue to overrate your team's players and coaches. It's hilarious. Alvin Gentry is not better than Spo. This forum also needs to stop being so hard on Spo. It's the pre-season. Let's judge him at the end of the season. Spo has his faults and can be stubborn with the "system" but he's easily a top 6-7 coach in this league. The only coaches I would take over him currently are Pop, Carlisle, Doc, Thibs, and SVG.

Yeah, yeah talent. But you can literally make the talent argument about every coach. What is Pop without Duncan? What is Riley without Magic/Kareem/Ewing/Wade? What is PJ without MJ/Pipen/Shaq/Kobe/Gasol? All of these are all-time coaches and Spo is not even close but you get the point.
