I'm tired of this ****. The thing is, I wanted Rio to be our starting PG again. But... he hasn't done anything lately at all. He is a non-factor these days which is weird, considering he is playing close to 40 minutes a night now. Spo is dumb for doing that though, what if he gets hurt? You going to play Cole 48 minutes a game now just to avoid playing Napier?

Spo is literally trying to avoid playing Napier...
I would be ecstatic to have Iman Shumpert at back up SG. Problem is Riley and Phil might not be ideal trade partners. Would be surprising to see a Heat-Knicks trade go down.
As u stated highly unlikely. No way Riley will be able to trade Cole or Chalmers straight up for anyone right now. My thinking is one of them gets dealt with Birdman. Would love to get Waiters for them. It makes sense for both teams. But that also seems highly unlikely. Only thing i can dream of is Birdman, Cole, and future pick for Isiah Thomas.
I'm not down with trading Birdy. He and Whiteside are the only real centers on our roster. That thins us even more inside.
Would be contingent on us signing a big man to replace him with the exception.

Whiteside is an above avg rebounder. Decent post defender and good rim protector. He's also slow, a bit clumsy and a fouling machine.

I don't believe he's the answer at C going forward. But he can be a nice Back up C. About 24min a night if he can stop fouling.

Point is, we are still screwed at C.

And royally screwed at PG

2 most important positions. It's no wonder we are 7th 8th seed and struggling.

Defensewins, i have studied every NBA roster front to back it' s near impossible to find a team that would be upgrading there backup PG spot with either Cole or Chalmers. Charlotte (Roberts), Denver (Robinson), Cavs(Delladova) and that's pretty much it. Let me know if i missed a team.

what about a team to dump Cole though? He is an expiring contract, to clear cap space... somebody would want him right?!

Knicks will want to clear cap space, if they want to get rid of Tim Jr... maybe... hopefully him and Melo get in another fight

That's why i am thinking we may be players in the Isiah Thomas sweepstakes. Suns may be looking to get that contract off the books to commit to Dragic.

what guy though is affordable for us at C going forward? Birdman/Whiteside is probably the best Center rotation we've had since Shaq/Zo LOL

this team for years in general just never got a good C, always old farts who couldnt do ****... atleast the old guys we have had like Zo and Birdman are contributors. Man the list of old C's and failed experiments in the last 4 years at C is just laughable.

man I am now more pissed than I was previously, looking at the box score

everyone shot well, we even shot 51% as a team! but it was Rio and Cole **** it up going 5-20... 1-9 from 3. Granger, Deng, Wade, Birdman, Shawne, everyone else basically, was efficient as hell... both those 2 bone heads. That is the game right there lol.

Hassan atleast got 7 rebs, this isn't the first time. he gets enough for a back up C, for now

Deng 6-10
Wade 11-17
Williams 3-5
Birdman 5-5
Granger 7-10

as a team shot 51%

Idk why they didnt go to the hot hand, Deng and Granger should have been given the ball, especially Granger. Not **** Rio trying to be a hero at the end there. Jacked up a 3 and then gets blocked by Gasol, LOL.

then ladies and gentle men, the two guys who led us to this loss..

Rio 2-10 0-3 from 3
Cole 3-10 1-6 from 3

their opposition also owns them on both sides of the floor. lol. Atleast we outrebounded them by 1? We didnt get the key rebounds but hey! its something lmao.

I would rather have Carlos Arroyo over those two bums at this point.

Rio last 10 games is shooting 33.7%!!! 29% from 3 for the year

Cole last 10 games shooting 37%, 26% from 3 now

wow... no wonder we can't do **** offensively. Even with Bosh in man, this needs to be changed

Napier was awful though, but HEY! atleast he's 38% from 3

would rather live with Napier's mistakes too...

it's a shame that we lost when that many players shot well. **** you Cole/Rio!

don't forget that we are at the end of the easiest schedule of the season: 7 game home stand. so far

Wed, Dec 17 vs Utah L

Fri, Dec 19 vs Washington L

Sun, Dec 21 vs Boston W

Tue, Dec 23 vs Philadelphia L

Thu, Dec 25 vs Cleveland W

Sat, Dec 27 vs Memphis L

That's whooping 2-4 and we got Orland left on Monday... 3-4 at best or 2-5 which will make this stretch officially horrible.

We are not getting close SPO you dumbass we are getting close to a really tough month of January with a losing record. smh

I know ... this was our only chance to go on a win streak before January...

I dont think we can go on a win streak til February or March... IF we have no set backs...

Our Feb. schedule looks pretty tough though we have some winnable away games against scrub teams like the Knicks so there is some hope there. The March is a little more forgiving but only if we are not totally f-ed up and have a fighting chance.

As for Napier, I remember that he had a really good game against Brooklyn (where he did help us win) and he had a bad game against Utah.. and zip that was it! It's weird the way SPO completely took him out of rotation based on (seemingly) one pretty bad game.
There must have been a serious discussion about not giving Napier any minutes and give those mins to Cole/Rio dumbdumb brothers to see if that will help them play better.

Obviously, didn't **** work at all

I blame you for this. Everything was going according to plan and then suddenly you decided it was a good idea to flip the script. :x :banghead:

Hopefully you've learned your lesson :)

If we flat out sucked, I wouldn't even be pissed. But it's us constantly proving that we can hang with good teams only to end up losing. I'm not gonna complain about anything in the second half, we did our jobs there, if it comes down to a shot here and there, that happens. The first half completely destroyed us and 90% of it was self-inflicted. You see this team dig itself in holes that aren't necessary over and over again and it's starting to piss me off. The careless turnovers, the equally careless defense, it's unnecessary and pissing me off. Tony Allen is a guy who can't score, but Deng let's him drive and slip into the paint several times to score. Mike Conley murders us on pull-up jumpers, yet Chalmers constantly loses him on a simple screen. Sometimes I wonder whether these dudes are dumb or just f***ing with us.

In the second half, the picture completely changes. We lock them down and as a result get transition opportunities or early offense shots ourselves. The only thing I'm gonna complain about is letting Marc Gasol get deep post position in crunch time. I will take any open corner three over Gasol receiving the ball deep in the post. Send a double-team from the weak side and front him for all I care, but him getting the ball down there is gonna result in getting scored on.

At least we competed. You can't really win with your PGs giving you nothing while giving up a lot on the other end.
you need a better strategy like maybe reverse jinxing

lol but you guys are always reversed jinxing and it never works. So I tried another way. I think I'll have to come up with another idea lol
yeah, none of our stuff works so am curious as to what you will come up next :D
