As much I like Lebron, it was his choice to go back the frozen pit that is Cleveland, just like their defense

Hey, atleast he thanked the fans finally

Also, is it me or does Wade look like he has tears in his eyes at the end.

yeah I think those were watery eyes lol, LeBron said he stopped himself from being emotional

everytime I hear that dude.. Mike Ingles? or something, when he would do the radio sound for our championship runs... like the 2006 one always gets me lol.

"AND THE MIAMI HEAT ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE BASKETBALL WORLD!!!"

Oh man that line is so spic, I can always hear it in my head. Also after 2012 I also loved his "LET THE CORONATION BEGIN", that nearly had me in tears in 2012.

What the video really highlighted for me is - Lebron's prime was with us. He'll never have another run like we had. Too much winning, too much fun, too many records, such high intensity. Good luck wining anything in Cleveland. I mean it.

if the notion of "peak years" exists, then with certainty i can say the 4 years in miami were lebrons "peak". he was at his absolute best physically and he transcended his game mentally. before he came down here he was known as a choke artist and the first season proved it but this organization helped him break through that mental barrier and become a two time finals mvp. heat fans can at least feel comfort in the fact that one of the games all time greats had his absolute best years HERE and only HERE.

Exactly. And don't think for a second playing along side Wade, who already won it, didn't give him confidence, along with Riley. These guys gave Lebron the lessons in winning he needed to break through. Not sure he ever does in CLE. He played with a lot of clutch players in Miami.

Get some help bro. Your "hate" is unjustified and simply ridiculous.

Anyways, class act once again by this organization. Lebron really did look choked up. I never needed "closure" but it did make me feel a lil better knowing that he DID care about this franchise in the end.

Sorry though, we will be knocking you out the playoffs.

That Heat Locker room was the best locker room I have ever seen in any sport, in my lifetime. Chemistry, veteran wisdom and discipline, and having fun with each other.

lol, Pat knows that this team was going to win more championships, but lequit ruined it. Combine that with the radio silence that lequit did to pat during free agency.....

the hall way they go through is also inspiring too, its amazing lmao. There's pics everywhere, all the championship moments

there are quotes everywhere too about hard work and determination

this organization is professional as heck. Cavs can't be like that, ever.

he did bolt when it got tough, but honestly, the way his defense has been... I dont even mind. LeBron's defense was bad last year too, there's a reason why Kawhi Leonard went off.

LeBron bolted after we saw his best years lol. Plus he will want 30mil a year when he's 32 in 2016, and he will get it. a 5 year, 30 mil a year or so. I think in hindsight, he left at the right moment.

Still... you don't throw away championships. He quit on a team that went to FOUR straight Finals. It's not easy to build a Finals team. You stay on the ride until the end, because winning ain't easy. Especially when Pau Gasol was going to play next to Bosh for us.

Riley knows this and that's why he's upset at him. That guy bolted to Cleveland, slapped together some players and got the Cavs to make some trades (Wiggins for K Love) and thought that would lead to some more championships. As you can see, it don't work that way. What we had was special, and Riley knew it. I wouldn't be surprised if Riley stays upset at him for years to come, because Riley truly looked out for the Big 3 interests..... only to watch it be thrown away and attempted to be duplicated somewhere else as if it was that easy, and then be treated poorly - wasting his time going to Vegas and all that.

So... putting everything aside...... he did Riley dirty on his way out. Pat deserved better than that.

I don't think Riley was as pissed about LeBron leaving as he was about being completely ignored. LeBron acted like a little b***h, not being a man and talking straight to Riley's face and dragging the process out. His SI letter confirmed to me that this has been in the making for a while because you don't spontaneously think of publishing your decision this way and you don't pen this letter in a day either. They put a lot of thought into this, especially playing the coming home angle because all of his sponsors adapted it in their ads.

If he feels the need to repair his brand (which is still the number one motivation in my book) or out of guilt or because he doesn't think our roster isn't good enough, then tell Riley early enough and don't avoid him and just leave. Riles is a class act, but you ain't gonna disrespect him, no matter who you are and to me, Riley seemed like he felt disrespected more than anything.

I think Riley's reaction is what I expected. He realizes how hard this thing is to put together. What was his quote earlier in the year about the chain prematurely breaking? Riley's been here long enough and seen and coached enough of the greats to know that talent only goes so far and that what we had was exceptional.

I think Riley also took offense to LeBron feeling he could play the role of GM as well and whip something together on the fly as it minimizes what Miami/Riley did. Obviously, the season is very young and anything can happen, and Cleveland should be better than they are, but Riley looks validated and LeBron looks diminished.

I'll always respect LeBron for the relevance he brought to this city and organization but I don't miss him, I miss winning at a high level and being relevant. He's as corny and contrived an athlete as you will ever find.

it was a good video , about 40 secs in is when emotion starts. Both Wade and Lebron were emotional but more Lebron. Well deserved. Hell even 1 year would ahve been enough 4 was just gravy.
