I highly doubt that, and they will have to give up a lot more than dion waiters to make the contract match.

Sanders and Knight for Deng, Chalmers, and Cole. The money works out.

A lineup of Sanders, Bosh, Wade, Ennis, Knight would be ridiculously athletic.

no, dont want Sanders.
Heat should not explore trying to get him. The red flags are not the direction or situation the Heat want to take on right now.

What is Sanders? a 6"10 rim protector? He doesnt have to clear the lane on offense or hedge pick and rolls, or defend the perimeter. He gets to stay in position for rebound and help defense. When the Heat prove they have changed the approach to let bigs play like this( like most teams) then considering a big like him might be an option.

Bottom line he wouldnt look like that doing what the Heat like to do with bigs. But the red flags are not not good either way.

They supposedly offered Sanders and Knight for garbage can Hibbert! Surely we could put a package together that helps them this year as they are in a playoff hunt. Deng, Bird and Cole gets them replacements at C, PG and SF with Parker out. Sanders seems like he's pouting to get moved somewhere favorable. Both Sanders and Knight are South Florida guys and would probably love being back home. This seems like a classic buy low opportunity and at $11m his deal won't hurt 2016 much. Knight is better than any PG we have.

Plus, when Larry Sanders does anything good, Mike B can yell "Hey Now!"

WT: Larry Sanders has informed the Milwaukee Bucks that he doesn't want to play basketball anymore.

Sounds like a buy out ploy, which won't happen on $44 m. But a trade at $.70 on the dollar is now very possible.

I love this trade - it really doesn't do a lot to move the needle this year, but sets us up from the future.

Knight will be restricted in the off season, so we could match anything and have Knight/Wade/?/Bosh/Sanders in our starting 5. That sounds like a great building block for the future, and situation that a 2016 FA SF could really thrive in. With Napier/Chalmers/Ennis/McBob/Whiteside off the bench, all of a sudden we're a SF away from looking like a top-2 team in the East.

Unless Sanders completely looses the plot, then we're a treadmill team...

I doubt he wants to play for Milwaukee, and in his mind this is what it takes to do that. I'd say he's more on our radar than ever before.
