I reviewed the game again this morning looking for the positives in our PG play, I am only reviewing 1 qtr/session of play for each PG. Once they get subbed, I no longer reviewed them.

Chalmers first

1. The very first offensive play of the game when chalmers hands off to wade and curls under the basket and gets the ball back and takes a hits a lean in jumper......That’s there a lot, need to do that more often.

2. At the 9:45 mark, chalmers brought the ball up and dribbled by liilard and made a shot attempt, he missed and Anderson dunked, but I like the fact that he took the shot.....

3. At the 6:53 mark, got a rebound and quickly threw it the length of the court to wade for an easy score...need to look for more of these outlets.

4. At the 4:30 mark, he took a pass from Deng and drove to the basket against mccullen for some free throws.

5. At the 2:08 mark, he brought the ball up on the left hand side, got a small screen from Deng and drove to the basket..he missed the layup but stole the rebound, got an assist on a Bosh three...that is there most times, needs to do this about 3 times a game.

At the 1:31 mark, he got subbed for COLE

1. With 38 seconds left in the 1st, cole drove around his man on the left hand side and was basically at the basket, but elected to pass the ball out. I mention this cause he’s a quick guard that needs ot take that shot while under the basket more...

2. With 13 seconds left in the 1st, he effectively guarded a portland player with great foot work, got a steal. Same possession, after receiving the ball from Bosh, he beat his man on the right hand side, drove towards the basket and hit Bosh with an assist..he could have easily shot the balk himself.

3. 1st offensive possession, he pushed the ball up the court strong, passed to Ennis, but he missed the layup...nice strong push on the fast break...
note: he ha good basic man defense on Blake, moves his feet well from side to side.

4. At the 9:00 mark after being scored on by lillard, he brought the ball up, dribbled to the left side and threw up a nice alley to Whiteside...I think that’s there a lot.

5. At the 8:30 mark, brought the ball up, dribble to the top of the key, hot Whiteside for a score...I think that also is there if you LOOK for the big guy.

6. At the 5:05 mark, nice pass into wade, missed shot, but that entry pass is always there. He’s playing decent defense on Blake. Got subbed for Chalmers.

Overall, i didn’t see know AS performance from portland guards, what I saw so far was them taking what our defense was giving them.

Napier entered the game around the 4:40 mark

1. 1st possession threw a Alley for Ennis, ennis missed the shot
2. 3rd possession, made a nice drop pass to Whiteside for a score
note: at the 2:55 or so mark, the announcer(A FORMER PG) mentioned that we need to get his confidence back, cause he is the only true PG on the team.
3. At the 1:45 mark, made a nice pass to Williams, but williams missed the shot.
