Dragic "Loves Opportunity" To Join Lakers This Summer, Sees Them As "Perfect Fit"

A person familiar with Dragic’s thinking said he “loves the opportunity” to join the Lakers and sees them as a “perfect fit” when he becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer. But the Heat can sign Dragic a five-year deal worth up to $100 million, while other teams can offer up to a four-year deal worth $80 million.

This worries me. Lakers sound like a real threat for Dragic this summer.

LA was #1 on the list of teams he wanted to get traded to.

Dragic has the same agent as Steve Nash (Bill Duffy) & Dragic is also good friends with Nash.

According to a Suns insider Nash & Dragic's agent are pushing him to go to LA & they'll offer him the max.

He WAS interested.... He still had Miami in his preferred destinations as well, no one really asked him about joining MIA(To my knowledge) besides whom ever asked him about joining Lakers. So obviously he would speak freely, fact that he IMMEDIATELY changed his avatar/location to MIA with a tweet speaks volumes... He's excited to be here and for the long haul.

Take into account he isn't some early 20's to mid 20's guy... lol Lakers are in full tank/rebuild mode and he isn't going to risk going there.

His brother's contract here is 2 years. I wouldn't think he would insist for him to come to Miami and then leave him behind when he goes to the Lakers. That would be uncool.
