20+ point deficits?

Post#1 » by contract » Sun Feb 22, 2015 2:01 pm

Does anyone know how many times this team has fallen behind by 20 or more points this season? I've lost count, but it seems like it has happened a ton. This team either lacks the will to win, or is incapable of sustaining it for 48 minutes.

Losing is bad enough without embarrassing yourself out there. :banghead:

We're not in shape imo. Our vets can't sustain the high pressure d that spo demands. I would guess our injuries are a big factor in this.

I feel like if Pat were coaching the team, now that we have whiteside and dragic he'd make us a slow paced punch you in the face team. Which would see us go up the standings

Obviously we're not punching people in the face, but we can't get any slower paced. We're dead last in the NBA in pace.

Got this off of ESPN

Another bad start for the Heat

From Elias Sports Bureau: The Pelicans outscored the Heat in the first quarter, 25-14, and went on to win, 105-91. It's the fourth time this February that Miami trailed by more than 10 points at the end of the first period. That's the franchise's highest such total in a calendar month since March 2008, when the Heat also had four games of that kind, on the way to finishing the season with a 15-67 (.183) record.

Dragic is better suited to an up tempo style. He's use to running and gunning in Phoenix.

Roster changed so many times this year. The talent type change which change the scheme. We started off as a team with weak defenders, motion offense shooters, then got Whiteside to playing halfcourt defense (which we didnt fully commit too) team, to now who knows now that Bosh is gone. I identity has not been establish one because the talent keep changing, because of injuries and addition of new players. Think about it, two season ending injuries to starting players McBob and Bosh, Wade and Deng always hurt. and replacing Mcbob and Bosh is Whiteside and Dragic. The scheme keep changing because of the talent constant change.

The only players who were on the court all year was Coles and Chalmers lol
