i just watch twinmuscleworkout dudes on Youtube and pretend that i'm jacked lmao. i haven't wachted them in a long time though they just recycle their videos and talk about the same thing all year long among other 10 million bro-science gurus.

 I watch em time to time for the lols

I am avid watcher of Mike Chang

Spoiler:
just kidding

Hey Mike Chang taught me one thing though... coconut oil on dry chicken breast.. that was the best food advice ever.
And he had some co-workers that were hot. 8-) Does he still do 6-pack short cut videoes without having 6-pack himself? lol

My favorite was Furious Pete from Canada. He is a food fighter/bodybuilder (in case if you're unfamiliar). He excels at both and pretty funny.

Yeah it's pretty odd that he isn't shredded while promoting 6-pack shortcuts, to each their own.

Furious pete is the dude that did the "before and after shocking transformation (Mike chang got owned) lol He's a monster, he did a lot of eating contests as well.

No basketball??? :o

My first year of graduate school I did. I played at 7 am a few days a week. Once I got into the second year of my program it became an afterthought to hit the gym. So now the wife and I hit up the mountain when the weather's good and we have time off. I was a lot more active before pharmacy school. I work out my brain most of the time now;)

Carb cycling= eating low carbs for two days then re-feeding the 3rd and repeating the cycle, usually about 0-50g of carbs the first two days and then 200+g the 3rd day.

Intermittent fasting= eating your food in a window of about 8 hours. So you fast for 16hrs and eat for 8, Really great way to maintain/build lean muscle mass. There are many articles on it, however it'd be tough for those who are used to eating breakfast every morning but you can adjust.

I love intermittent fasting, especially since I lift during the late evenings/night, I can't lift on a empty stomach lol

Yeah I have yet to try carb-cycling, still on a 2 and a half year lean bulk.

Das it mane.

My suggestion is rippetoe starting strength and then moving from that. Get the fundamentals down rather than doing bicep curls at the squat rack :noway:.

Speaking of gyms, my school opened a new 100,000 sqr ft 4 level gym on wednesday.

I've been doing CrossFit for 5 years now. Totally changed my body from just a normal gym muscle type to shredded and so much stronger. I eventually turned into a crossfit trainer on the side, that's how much it changed my life. I play lots of basketball and flag football too. I currently use Progenex protein, it's not cheap, but it tastes so good. I feel everyone has their thing, not every workout is right for every person. But when it's all said and done, if you eat properly.. run and do some push ups. You can always be decently fit.

I use the Ab Lounge got it for $40 on Craiglist. You can do about 15 different things on it & when it folds up you can do push ups. It's mostly strengthens my body core. What's great about it is you can use it while watching TV instead of laying on the couch. It also stretches your back out & you can set it so you're almost upside down with your back arched.

I got back with a trainer recently, also started doing hot yoga with the girl friend. It's a great combo. I'm trying to pace myself on gym days though, I have a thing for over training and I burn myself out. Hopefully won't do that this time and successfully change my lifestyle a bit.
