This is how i feel abut Beasley. He makes the team look like bums w/ some of the stuff he does out there.

Beasley showed maturity and leadership last night. The first time I have ever saw Beasley directing players to get in their correct spots. What was head scratching is that he seemed to know our offense better than the players that have been on the team all year.

I was sitting near the court and Beasley was barking at players and directing them to their correct positions.

This game he played well defensively. He hustled and was very active. But the teams truly needs Beasley to be a leader and the face of the team. Wade simply is not the player who can drop 28 a night (Harden) and carry the scoring load. So Beasley is very important.

Spo simply can't just have him camped out behind the 3pt line. Spo has to make him the focal point of the offense

LOL, why did they even sign him so I have to read this foolishness. Face of the team? Give me a break

"We've got to find a way to win ugly if we want to be in the playoffs," guard Dwyane Wade said.

This was ugly. But it wasn't a win.

"We just have to continue to work to get better," Spoelstra said.

With Chris Bosh lost for the season, as well as Josh McRoberts, and with Dragic now ailing, Wade didn't want to hear about the lineup fielded by the Hawks.

"Without three starters?" he said of the Hawks. "You've seen what we've been without?"

"We made a lot of mistakes and then we started to press," Spoelstra said of his team's uneven start. "The turnovers really made it tough on us.

"Once we settled in, I think some of our best possessions of the last couple of weeks were in the second half."

"Before the game," Whiteside said, "Coach told me he needed 20 rebounds from me. I just do what I'm told."

chucking all over the place. Usually I don't mind 3 point shooters atleast chucking (guys who can make that shot) but damn... it bit us today.

It was only inefficient because the wide open shots missed

The same possessions that had Luol looking good recently, he bobbled to 8 turnovers....Walker was brought in as a shooter, he went 2-11 from 3.

A defender wasn't even close on about 6 of those Walker misses, what better "offense" do you want for him than that?

I wanted them to go to Whiteside more, but it's a make or miss league.. Walker hits 4 of 11 from 3 and it's a win

Spo needs to do the obvious and make this simple adjustment. Beasley needs to be the focal point on offense along with Whiteside getting touches where he can operate near the basket.

Wade is still a great player but he is not the 28pts per night guy anymore. He will give you a solid 20pts 4asst 3reb. Spo needs to incorporate Beasley as the main guy to help ease the load of Wade. If Beasley can get his 20, Wade 20 and Whiteside some touches where he can get maybe 10 from his offensive game and possibly 8 from put backs/lobs we would have a balanced team.

We no Dragic will get his points

Beasley played the best D I've seen from him ever, learning process. Dude missed shots as did everybody else. He wasn't even close to the worst player out there. We all knew he can score in bunches but if he continues to put solid effort on d then he' a big weapon for this team.

This literally made me not care about the loss. Awesome job Maroko. The only thing that would have made it epic is if we won thanks to the papa johns discount.

On to the game, i dont think i ever want Walker shooting so much unless he is on fire behind the 3 line. I think Deng was tired from the night before. Poor Whiteside, he is playing like the Hulk down in the post grabbing rebounds yet we cant get him the ball. Why do we still play a three guard line up?

Beasley played some great defense and was running the offense at times. Thats got to be a hard gut check to some here. I like the idea of adding a 3pt shooter to the starting line up but i dont think moving Deng to the 4 is a good move. Idealy just start Beasley at the 4 but sub him out early so he can get more play with the second unit. Its gives us space, size and more versatility.

Once you're on the sh@t list, what's funny is if his name was not Mike and he was producing exactly the same else where and we had a chance to sign him...some posters would be drooling over him. We want someone else's BONE HEAD(as they call him often), but can't motivate OUR BONE HEAD

Can't even laugh @ this a.s.s of a coach anymore.

Having an elite PG and making him irrelevant in the offense. Just bringing the ball up for Deng/Wade to turn it over.

Whiteside has to put up monster numbers with no plays called for him.

Wade isn't healthy enough to carry this team game after game, Deng thrives off the ball, WHY IS SPO SO DUMB

During the offseason, I remember getting blasted for only wanting Wade to get offered a 10 million salary.

Prior to the trade deadline, before the Bosh illness, I remember wanting him moved for Joe Johnson & his soon to expire contract.

Wish I could push those buttons

You simply can't ask a player to opt out of a $20 mil year and only offer him $10 mil a year for 2 years. That is too much sacrifice to ask. Wade had > $40 mil coming to him over the next 2 years, he'd have to be a moron to have accepted half as much.

The good news is, Wade seems to have somewhat found his touch again, which is key going forward. I don't expect Deng and Walker to be off the way they were tonight. One thing I really didn't understand though. Wade somewhat had it going in the 4th, so you want to keep feeding him. Why do you START your offense with him? Use Dragic to start it in a pick and roll for example, that'll move the ball and move the defense and Wade can strike from there. If you put Wade in a pick and roll, they can easily force the ball out of his hands and he faces a set defense.

We also have to stop gunning so much from the outside and look for the mismatches a pick and roll can create. I don't know how often Whiteside was covered by a smaller guy down low and we didn't find him. The only one who really looks for him seems to be Wade anyways.

Beasley is a weapon to have offensively when his shot is falling, but defensively he hasn't changed much. That layup within the last minute by Millsap was caused by Beasley not watching his man one bit. Those are the little things you just can't do wrong.

Yet I'd take mike on my team any day, and motivate him and rely on him to use his natural skills. I also of course would have a more traditional defense to eliminate unnecessary rotations and return to the days where players played more man defense which allowed them to study their opponent. There is no need to study anything on this team but the HEAT playbook.

Btw- played pick up ball against a few ex nba players a month ago, correction., it was thanksgiving.....seamed like a month ago.

Full disclosure: I was playing 3 on 3 and they just needed a body.....My best friend and I was talking sh@t in "Cracker Barrel" - no comment on the score or who won.

evidently that has not been good enough for the Heat & beasley ahs failed not once but twice!......this is his 3rd try while Miami re-signs him being in desperation mode for scoring. Do you think he'll pass the test this time?
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

very disappointing.

Walker if you're going to throw up so many shots you've got to hit 30 - 40% at the very least.
