This is what I have notice, teams are now colapsing on Whiteside, its not as easy getting him the ball now. They are trapping Wade and Dragic on pick and rolls. This is leaving the PF and SF wide open which are two position that shooting has suffered outside of Beasley. If Haslem cant get his midrange shot back soon, we may have to start Beasley.

U R correct.......BUT, That's why I mentioned PRACTISE getting it to him earlier, 80% of the time he beats his man down the court. This is something that has to be worked in the offense...We're still playing like he's not there.......

I'm against starting Mike due to the fact he'll just wander on offense, UD give us that pseudo muscle we need to start the games, cause he's not really an offensive threat.......I need him to come off the bench shooting...not PASSING OR PUMP FAKING.

The problem is if Haslem cant be a threat left open it teams will continue to colapse and trap wade and dragic. Someone needs to be able to take advantage of the attention that Wade, Dragic and Whiteside is getting. I do not know why his shot is looking so bad. And Deng is not a shooter and they are trying to make him one.

UD is not really a bad shooter, but he's CONDITIONED to do exactly what you see him doing, he doesn't even look to shot....EVERY player should be an offensive threat, but we seam to want to stick with specialists...Teams gamble on UD, figuring he's no offensive threat, thus are able to collapse on other players as you say.....

This team is CONDITIONED to do certain things, the staff is CONDITIONED to teach certain teams........Just once, I'd like to see SOMETHING NEW....BUT I KNOW THE DEAL......

Teams don't respect Haslem... Teams double up on Whiteside then they just leave Haslme wide open. If I was the other team I would leave Haslem open all the time

Haslem I liked in spurts but not as a starter. No spacing...

Beasley isn't really efficient but atleast be is a threat. Thing is we need his bench scoring too. They will continue to start Haslem but only to start the 1st and 3rd quarters. He is essentially a filler

You hit it on the nail. Beasley is a threat that opposing teams will worry about forcing teams to play Whiteside one on one. The other thing not mentioned is that Beasley is actually doing a good job passing the ball to Whiteside. Id be ok with playing UD as a token starter but get Beasley to play more mins. Beasley playing 22 mins last night while we gave Walker 33 mins just didnt make any sense factoring we were playing Walker at pf?

we were never supposed to do anything in this game but play it. After Dragic left the game we had nothing to lose and that's when we started draining shots - no pressure, no expectation, no stress. Dynamics change once your in a blowout game w/ 1 qrt left to go. Wiz may have even taken their foot off the pedal a little, seeing as how they were up by 30pts.

We should just be happy the rooks and d-leaguers got a chance to play and wet their feet a little. Will give them good rhythm going into this next game. Hopefully Dragic is ok.

It was still right there for us to take it.

NBA officials have ruled that the basket Johnson had that was an offensive putback, should not have counted

It would have been more funny if we won smh. I thought that basket was good, it was coming off the rim, but I think it's because he touched the rim after

I just watch the game again (because I have no life lol). And Napier performace along with Beasley two man game was a thing of beauty. One thing has not been mention and was actually the biggest difference was this:

Image

Napier defensive performance was a Huge factor. He force the point guard to just give up the ball instead of dictating the play. He forced Wall to make a decision 30 feet plus out.

Dragic played very poorly defensively. He never pressured, and only sagged off of the point. You would think that he was providing help defend off the ball, but that wasnt the case neither. That whole game while dragic defended the point, he allowed Wall to pass to whom ever had the best scoring opportunity. Example this play Wall passes to a cutting Pierce, and Pierce drives right pass Dragic with no resistance. I know Dragic has back problems, but iv seen this since he got here. He standing in no mans land. not be a deterrence to anyone. This has to change, along with his transition defense. He not stopping the ball what so ever.
