IMO what killed Miami was
Beasley and Chalmers trying to play PG
Beasley had 7 assists last game and probably thought he can repeat that.
Chalmers kept holding the ball like he suddenly became the main PG in the rotation
and allowed the clock to wind down.
I back this up with stats from NBA.com
MC USG % 25.6
MB USG % 26.9
GD USG % 17.3
in the 2nd half MC had a 32.3 USG% and a 25 % FG

Together they racked up 7 TOs and slowed down the pace.

Chalmers also had 4/14 FG 28 %

Whiteside had only 6 rebounds the entire game
