Its gonna be backloaded so while the cap rises its good value. I just hope he doesnt play anymore international games honestly, Parker has done that and as he got older he looked like crap.
**** you, we're already missing half the damn team at every tournament as it is

Come on man. We've paid Goran big money we need him focused and committed to us and only us. If he wants to participate in the olympics fine I just don't want him going every year like Tony Parker.
Well, I get you position, however I'd like you to understand that's a borderline sacrilige in europe.
Eurobasket might not be a big thing in the states, but it's huge in europe and just as much as young kids look up to NBA stars they look up to their national team players.
What Parker has done for French basketball by winning the 2013 eurobasket is immesureable, their first title ever and got so many french kids pick up basketball it's not even comparable with winning 2 or 3 more NBA titles. Not trying to diminish the NBA in any way, but that's just how europeans work.
Goran might not have win an eurobasket title, sure people are excited about his performances in NBA, but with eurobasket, whole country practicaly stops breathing for a while. Memphis PG Udrih that didn't show up in the last few years is by some considered an enemy of the state, with petitions to take away his citizenship and ex-Cav Ilgauskas was denounced by his whole nation after not showing up even once for these tournaments. There is a thing with european nationalisms and you can't expect players to easily ignore the national teams competitions that made a lot of them pick up basketball in the first place. All of them have been dreaming of getting an NBA title, but winning a title with their national team was part of their dreams as well.
Sure NBA had a big impact on bball popularity, but without Arvydas Sabonis or Dražen Petrović at the 92' olympics, Parker, Dirk, Gasol bros, Goran, a short-time Trailblazer Sasha Djordjević in 95 with a last second triple vs. Croatia (at war with Serbia at that time), Kirilenko in 07' eurobasket or the Greek Diamantidis&Papaloukas in 05' you can be sure international talent pool would be much poorer than it is today.
