Ah, I see. That explains why he's not playing much in summer league.

It's not Euroleague. It's the European Championship of national teams - like the Olympics, but just Europe.

Friendly games gonna start soon, schedule:

Slovenia - New Zealand 30. 7. 2015
Slovenia - Australia 3. 8. 2015
Slovenia - Australia 4. 8. 2015
Slovenia - Ukraine 21. 8. 2015
Slovenia - Finland 22. 8. 2015
Slovenia - Italy 23. 8. 2015
Slovenia - Serbia 27. 8. 2015
Slovenia - Serbia 29. 8. 2015

Schedule for European Championship: http://www.eurobasket2015.org/en/pageID_xZ6ztVqFHAo5RJO9BiPul1.compID_qMRZdYCZI6EoANOrUf9le2.season_2015.roundID_9322.html

Slovenia - Croatia 5. 9. 2015
Slovenia - Georgia 6. 9. 2015
Slovenia - Netherlands 8. 9. 2015
Slovenia - Greece 9. 9. 2015
Slovenia - Macedonia 10. 9. 2015

I really hope he steps up, if he's able to put in good performances and lead them team (as he is expected), he will easily carry that confidence over to NBA, provided he will be given any playing time. Basically Goran's rise in NBA started in 2011/12 season, which "took off" with him participating in Eurobasket in Lithuania, where he was given the role of leader for the 1st time and lead the team with 12 points 3 ass 3,5 reb and 1,5stl in 24mins per game (bout 18/5/6/2 per 36, which is rather decent) and then later that season he was given opportunity as starting PG for Houston. We all know how that ended..

So I'm really really hoping the same/similar thing to happen for Zoran Dragic. But even then I still doubt he'd get (m)any minutes on such stacked Heat backcourt.. we shall see :)

Australia will have Bogut, Exum, and Delladova for those match ups. Should be interesting to see how Zoran does

Yeah, Serbia will have Bogdan Bogdanovic (Phoenix 1st rd pick last year) and Croatia will also have Bojan Bogdanovic (Brooklyn) and Mario Hezonja (Orlando). And Italy is also kinda NBA-stacked (as well as Greece).

That's a good move. Best not to let the rookie burn himself out before even hitting the wall.

I dont agree at all. Something is wrong when 20year old cant play for his country.
