I am right on the point lol because the one who voted for Chalmers, they would love a better option than him but they dont want Bazz as answer as the backup PG. In the other hands, you got the Bazz die hard fans who prefer to put an avi of Ron Artest // Metta World Peace // Pandas Friend LOL
I just found it funny that no one on this board has an avi or sig of Bazz when they are so ready to jump to defend him.
nobody is a 'die hard bazz fan'. its just laughable how badly maroko and HIF exhibit some sort of ill bias towards . napier is no hero, but best believe he will be in the league for a long time. and best believe he is the best point guard on your bench. its not like he hasn't had moments jesus. it just seems yall are of the volition 'this was lebrons pick' so therefore he is a joke and unworthy of anything. but whatever it is what it is. wait and see approach for you two

i really don't want to make it seem like i'm making SN as the savior, but ask around the league... the most valued skilled in basketball today is either good passing or good shooting. And if those accounts rewatched him vs gsw, they would see he worked his tail off just as good as a 'delly' (got killed but curry is the freaking mvp) . kerr or curry never sang praises of opposing rookies this season, only napier. the guy was climbing rookie leader boards by both sheridan and david thorpe, then got slapped with the d league and a bunch of dnps. and chalmers is a s*itshow on offense he has no pace or respect for team basketball.
When you look at how the Heat has spoon fed the starting PG roll to Chalmers year in and year out, spite of having his starting spot taken by numerous PG acquisitions after him, we gift wrapped him the roll simply out of financial situation. Chalmers was our starting PG by circumstance not by skill. What also helped Chalmers retain the roll is the fact that he also plays both ends of the floor, wich is always going to be a positive for this organization. Furthermore we also used Wade as PG wich made Chalmers some what more bearable.
When you look at Shabazz Napier he is also defensive minded, but he is also a true PG who has a natural knack for passing, much more than Mario. I'm sure if you swap their careers & we drafted Napier in 2008, when we lacked the cap space to sign legit PG's, Napier would have also been gifted the starting 1 spot, tolerating any shortcomings and letting him start all 82 games in his rookie season like Chalmers and help give him confidence at an early stage of his career, like we gave Chalmers. After all Chalmers was drafted during a time when we had a far stable roster and Wade was in his prime. Napier was drafted into a far more mediocre team, a team who were injury plagued all his rookie season - not exactly an ideal way to start off a rookie's professional career in the NBA.
Give any mediocre PG the starting roll in an organization like Miami, in a non contending season and watch his confidence sky rocket. This is Chalmers career. I think Napier can only improve at this early stage of his career. He has shown that he has the necessary and natural skills a pg must have to make plays, find players and set up team mates. He has also shown his commitment on the defensive end, wich is what the Heat wants from all of their players. What he needs to show is improvements also in his shooting. I believe once he starts knocking down shots at a decent % clip it will make his over all game better.........All he needs is confidence & that comes w/ minutes.....minutes that Chalmers has been handed.
I understand Chalmers has experience, wich is valuable & cannot be taught or taken away, but i feel we are moving on from the past and are again in the process of building a contender. Chalmers time here should come to an end, we've shown him nothing but loyalty by giving him opportunities time & time again but it's now time to give that same faith & opportunity to somebody else who has the potential to be a better PG for the Heat. This is not 2008/2009, we have addressed our PG issue w/ Dragic, we no longer need to give Mario unnecessary opportunities
.
this right here is fantasy.
Well no one is denying his talents when it comes to handle the ball (dribbling and passing). I even made a sig about it and it's funny that Napier got so much fans on this board but no one wears an avi nor a sig
i find it very when Bazz got 2/3 max good game offensively in november then people are saying he played great the whole november. When you say :
He has shown that he has the necessary and natural skills a pg must have to make plays, find players and set up team mates. He has also shown his commitment on the defensive end, wich is what the Heat wants from all of their players.
When and where ? Are you talking about pick up games ? he better made some good moves in games made for him lol, it's like an all star game type game with no defense so of course he will draw a lot of attention when he drives to the paint and pass the ball, but that level is by far away from a regular season game and lets not talk about a playoff game where people knows your weakness. Last year, i had already noticed he tends to hold the ball way too much and it's the same during that summer league (i will give you one excuse as sometimes the players he played with were trash but i havent seen any improvement so far about it).
Sorry but his defense is and will always be a problem. And more importantly, his behavior is by far my concern, "i know more than the coach..." I mean he could be right but as long as you are a rookie, shut up and play then when the coach trusts you then you can elevate your game. he still doesnt get it, he tried to play his game but it didnt work so he got sent to the d-league : Did he say ok i will try to understand what the coach is trying to tell me but no he was crying over and over...
As i said, i wish him all the best but he is not the right fit for the Heat. Keep in mind the playoffs, you have to look at the big picture, do you really want him as your backup point guard ? Chalmers is there by default, of course i would want him away from this team as he had many occasion to rise but i dont want to trade him at all cost especially if the backup answer is Bazz. I will still cheer for him because sometimes i know he will give us some nice highlights
I couldn't agree more if Maroko was my alternate account.

It's not an ill bias to say that a young player hasn't got what it takes to play on the Miami heat.
Napier will never be a starter in the NBA and he won't be around in 3 years time even as a backup. His many weaknesses far outweigh his slightly better than combo guard ability to pass the ball.
His defense is atrocious, his ability to play any other position is non-existant and his attitude is downright poor.
If he's on the Heat roster in 3 years I'll have his sig and if he's not you can run a sig of my choice - DEAL?

I live near Bordeaux and I'm British, I'm guessing he lives in Paris and is Morrocan. And Also guess he's a lot younger than me and I can only dream to have his gif making ability.

so you're comparing him to Delladova!
Despite their games being very unsimilar I'd have to agree that they are both below average players that I wouldn't want starting or being back-up on my team.

nice reading comp. you french pansy. I was using it as an example to combat your delusional thoughts he is a horrible defender. napier is 10x the player delly is. for one he can create his own shot and dribble up court without stiff arming his defender. And how about when spo literally doghoused him out of no where, came back on a west coast trip a month later to defend the hell out of both darren collison ( who he looked better than ) and curry.
don't really get hoop snobs like you who are on the edges of their seats , the pure zeal to denounce players when clearly your favorite organization is keeping said player around. its futile discussing this with you, as it was days ago. lacking substance, your posts are just stocked with tasteless attempts to demur his game. he isn't a star, but can be a valuable back up.

You ought to be a scout because you can see things that no-one else can.
As I said days ago, just accept that I and many others think he's a small average PG with limited skill, hopefully the Heat coaches can get him to be a reasonable backup. I love your argument that he's good because the organization is keeping him around yet you put TJ, JRich and Mario down.
Still I'm a snob because I'd prefer Rio or TJ on my team over him, yet you're not despite wanting Bazz over the others even though you're a sonics fan.

Remeber, real basketball heads know Napier is talented and wayy better than TJ (even though i must admit, i like TJ, he's solid). At this point it's about fit, whether Napiers skills fit this current team or TJ's/Chalmers. Another thing to note, Erik Spoghetti changed up Napiers game so much, that he looked like a bum at times. This will be a good yr for him, IF he gets the chance.. With J-Rich here, TJ isn't that valuable anymore. I can see him waived/traded.

See HIF, we beat the best real basketball heads ! Are they going to call Pat Riley a HATER too ? Will they admit their mistake or acting like Rex "I TOLD YOU" when i am right but never when i am wrong ?
