And maybe if we had a legitimate max contract big man, we wouldn't have needed Ray Allen's 3 or Bosh's rebound. cause we would have been up 7 points in the final seconds. That was lucky.

Shoulda got rid of him back in 2013. He's a really nice guy, great locker room influence, but I hate his game. Big men who don't play Big have no place on my team.

i gotta agree. I didn't like what i saw in Bosh the last 2 seasons spite of any stats or efficiency. to be honest i'd much rather have him off the roster. we're all about winning right now not waiting on a players health. 2 seasons now that Bosh has missed the 2nd half of the season.....i'm not saying that's Bosh fault but it's hurting us and we need to figure this thing out and move forward.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Some of you are just reaching. Bosh, when healthy, is our best player. He is not perfect by any means and a few times he has been passive but watch his tape. He is very good defensively and capable to score from the paint all the way to the 3pt line. He is not a stat stuffer if that is what some fans are looking for but he helps your team win in many ways. Watch him defend the PnR or participate on it when on offense. Watch his savvy post defense, his mid-post offense, face up game, his footwork to take his man off the dribble, his shot etc.

I understand there are some health concerns, and I feel it. If Bosh doesn't get hurt last season, we make the playoffs. If he doesn't get hurt this season, we go to the ECF. But you can't diminish his contributions to the team and treat him like a salary dump already. We are a better team with him when he is healthy. It would be unfortunate for many reasons if he can't play basketball again. If that's the case, then we can worry about his salary. We are not there yet!

Preach. I don't really understand the thought process behind wanting Bosh gone. He is our best two way player BY FAR. His game will age really well. If he's gone, we ain't getting any decent free agents down here next year. Dragic is a dissapointment, Wade - although still very good - will be another year older and god knows what happens with Whiteside. Bosh is our biggest pull because of his unique playstyle and ability to adapt to ANY situation.

Feels real weird because he's without a doubt one of the most outspoken dudes in the league but he hasn't said or refuse to have said anything outside of his written statement he had earlier. That and the fact that his clot reoccurred without good reason makes me doubt a little.

If he were back, then I would say we were 1 or 2 additions/adjustments from knocking on the top of the East... at least, if we can retain Wade and Whiteside with no problems

Honestly, I don't know. I haven't the foggiest.

On one hand, a recurring clot would be insta-retirement in my mind. On the other hand, we know Bosh is a smart and responsible man - if he was working on getting back just a month ago there is no doubt in my mind his condition isn't life threatening and he should thus be avaliable at the start of next season.

Yea' that's the only thing that still doesn't make sense to me. I trust his judgement, so I'd like to know what he was thinking. Something we don't know, shouldn't kno or was it just plain stupid all around and doesn't deserve explanation

It's not that people don't want Bosh back.

People don't want Bosh missing after the ASG.

Good post, but I don't at all agree that Bosh is our best player.

The semi-pro team I'm an AC for is dealing with a player who has/had a clot on her collarbone. It made her arm blow-up pretty bad & there was a lot of pain during any motion. She's been on thinners for about 3-4 weeks (how long the clot normally takes to break down) now & they told her that it would be 3 months on thinners, then they would do scans and if there was no signs of clot then she would come off.

At the start she did the stupid/competitive thing and was like "I'll be back in 3-4 weeks". After the haematologist explained the risks she changed to "yeah, I'm done for the season".

She is only just back to lower body work-outs & will go back to shooting at the 8-week mark. Full training (non-contact) at 3-months.

The haematologist said that being a one-off occurrence she will be fine to resume playing, but if it happens again they will need to talk about risk reduction (no longer playing contact sport).

This is what really worries me with Bosh. As a coach I couldn't let that player suit-up, or even train, knowing the risk she takes every time she boxes out someone bigger than her, or tries to cheat through a gap in screens, or closes the gap on a player who has picked up the ball. If this is a repeat of last year, then I (as a father who has had a child have heart surgery) could not allow someone to put themselves in undue risk.

If it's not a blood clot, then say so & clear the air. If it is, then listen to the people around you who are saying "hang up the boots, spend time with your family". Then when the pain of not playing is gone, come back to the league as a coach.

I for one don't want Bosh gone, I just don't want my team involved in a situation where one of our players is placing his life at serious risk every time he plays.

He's the only player on our team who plays both sides of the court on a high level. That's not something for you to agree with or not, that's a fact.

I'm a lawyer so my post may not be worth much, but everyone of my doctor friends think Bosh should retire. They believe he will only be a problem for himself and for the Heat if he continues to play. Terrible news, but I couldn't get one of my doctors to give another opinion.
