I was thinking like you when he first joined the team but what he has shown is intriguing enough to get him a shot in the big leagues. Tough rebounder with some posts moves to make him respect him offensively. If he can do that in the NBA, he deserves a roster spot. I am not sure if he is athletic enough to be a starter or even a rotation player. We'll see though.

He'd have been a lottery pick if he were 6'10.

So would beasley.

Um, he was. He went #2.

Jarnell Stokes has me intrigued at this moment. I would like to see him during SL and Heat camp if we are able to sigs him.

All the pure talent and physical tools are wasted if you're lazy and weak minded.

If Upshaw had Winslow's determination, state of mind, focus and IQ - he would have been a perennial Allstar. But he's less professional then Beasley at his worst.

Wanted Upshaw so that we could pair him with Whiteside and have a two-headed attack at center dubbed "Up-Side".

Upshaw needs to show some progress, longevity before consideration. A few years even, but I'd love to see him make it
Long Live Winnie. Mamba siempre
