Hey, plingboy, how are those SQL errors?

Some background info: SBT is one of the big television networks of Brazil. Its programming is just terrible. This program is actually a contest and these women are contestants trying to win a prize. I don't think much more needs to be said. I recommend watching without volume because it's really so annoying.

That being said I would be a fan of Female Twister in the Olympics.

I've been to Italy and the TV there is the same or worse, you got like 100 channels and literally all them just show models doing these kind of stupid chit in tight clothes all the time.

I could understand it if it a weekly show on 1 specific channel, but it's 100's shows on all the channels every day. which really made me wonder :

1. Aren't those woman humiliated? the shows don't even bother to pretend there's any quality to them besides flaunting young woman in minimal clothing. Aren't they embarrassed? Aren't the hosts embarrassed?

2. Who is the target audience? Even being the perv that I am I couldn't watch it for more then 5 minutes, it's so boring and cringe worthy, who the hell is watching all these hours upon hours of this stupid infantile chit?

3. Isn't there some kind of inteligencia class to protest this dumbing down of the masses? Brazil and Italy aren't some dysfunctional 3rd world countries.

I can't watch it much either, but I do think it's funny, especially the reactions.

To answer your question, though, is complicated. There are enormous cultural differences. Even feminism is different in other countries than in America. It's not that Brazilian women aren't feminists - their perception of women's power is altogether different. Men in Brazil believe that women essentially run everything, one way or another.

It's kind of strange to see Americans criticizing the progress of women overseas. Brazil, Germany, England, France, and Argentina have all had female presidents/prime-ministers, while Americans obsess about Mrs. Clinton's pantsuits. Is she feminine enough? Is she too feminine? Etc.

Our men are sexually driven and make no excuses. So are our women. We are blatantly sexual. I mean, you've seen Carnaval. You don't wake up one day and start dancing samba. It's your life.

But women don't see getting into a tiny bikini or gym shorts that are revealing as being exploited. Women don't actually dress for men. They dress for other women. It's a man's job to tell them all that they are beautiful. It makes our lives more peaceful.
