Honestly if not for Whiteside we'd be getting blown out in every game this season.

It's not like Love didn't win the crappy T-Wolves 42 games.

I'm not insulting Hassan I'm just saying with the numbers that he's putting up if someone were to trade for him that fanbase would be asking themselves why he isn't averaging 20 15 and 3 like he did in Miami. In the same way that the Cavs thought that they were getting a 26 and 12 super star. Hassan can really only put up those numbers on a team full of scrubs like this one.

It was a great game to watch.

Last couple of games I've talked about Hassan's lack of positive aggressivity. This game showed exactly what I meant. He came out with a great mind set against Howard and played every play aggressively ( apart from when he was out on his feet for a few in the 4th). That's what I want to see. He was wordly there.

Good game for McGruder again and JRich finding his feet every game.

Real fun and still in prime position for a good pick.

Whiteside was very impressive last night, if we were a contender, i would expect that from him every night, but since we are a lottery team, he can get away with taking some games off i guess.

As long as our guys are fighting hard but coming up short, that's fine. I just don't want to see bad habits start to develop and i think spo is keeping an eye on that too.

That JRich ( & now Gorans ) injury, combined with a tough schedule ( The teams we played till now are 58:39 and over the next 10 games 41:52. ) really hurt us, along with some growing pains of not being able to close out tight games ( or that CHA game ). We were forced into some bad rotations, and too much Babbit & Dion. Now I do think, things will get better. Not sure how much better ( and Pat might blow things up before they do as some reports suggest ), and the hole we dug ourselves is quite deep.

Growing pains meaning Dion, he should not start nor close any game. He's so bad, it's unbelievable. I stand firm at saying this group can win 40 games/playoff birth but I'd feel better saying that if we had another facilitator other than Dion... If we had one we would be at least +3 wins right now

Except he didn't. When love averaged 20 and 15 rebounds the wolves won 17 games, the next season when he averaged 26 and 13 the wolves won 26 games. The year the Wolves won 40 games he averaged 26 and 13, however his cast was formidable and blows this roster out the water and it's not even close.
Rubio a real PG who averaged 9 assists that season (imagine Hassan with Rubio alone). Then he had Kevin Martin who averaged 19ppg, Pek who averaged 18 and 9 and Brewer 12ppg solid defense, rookie Derrick Williams, Dieng and JJ barea. So that statement is inaccurate. It's no surprise that when Cavs play Frye/Thompson in place of Love that they don't miss a beat sometimes even improve. If you plug Whiteside on another team he may not produce the same numbers but I'm confident his impact will still show (at least greater into comparison with Love)for the simple fact that Whiteside is averaging these numbers when he's virtually treated as the 3rd option on this team while Love was the clear cut 1st option.

Someone explain why Reed can't get in the game. Why is always one player left out. Still waiting for a Reed Whiteside lineup with tj jrich and window or mcgruder
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Rubio has great vision and solid defense. But when it comes to shooting he was worst than Rondo. You could leave him open all day at the three point line and was worse than dion when going for a layup. It hurt the wolves offense more than his fancy assists helped. I'm not sure how he fares these days, but since he's on their trading block for a few years now ( at least rumors are always floating around ) I'm guessing things aren't all that better.

Not so long ago you could do that at the same time. Not so true with the present Heat version.
