Milsap would likely play with Hassan and a top 3 pick rather than Winslow who sucks and Tj who's overrated. Pick your poison.

Millsap would likely steer clear of Miami before any of that becomes an option. He'll be turning 33 next year. Why would he come here?

A rookie as the only perimeter player capable of making plays? That ain't winning breh.

EDIT: Feb 2017: 32. Feb 2018: 33.

Don't know what are you talking about. We aren't tanking, we aren't good enough also. Our pick is gonna be somewhere between 10-15.

2021 first round draft pick to Phoenix
Miami's 2021 1st round pick to Phoenix [Miami-New Orleans-Phoenix, 2/19/2015]

That's two first round picks. That's it. Why is anyone bitching about that? If you're bitching about the lack of second round picks; shut the hell up.

We can't trade any of those, in between (can't trade 2 consecutive) so as trade assets they're pretty dead and my whole thing is being against still playing for lottery in 2020.

@Ali..I'm fine with the dudes trying hard and winning games like last night.

If we're at the point where we start scouting Zaire Wade, chances are things didn't work out

What I'm completely against is some "playoffs push" trade this year.

Millsap almost went to Orlando a while ago so...and TJ isn't overrated, $15,000,000 will pretty much be your minimum for a player who can hit a 3 and put up 12ppg in 2 years. Also, you know there's busts in the lottery every year right? And there's late lottery picks that become future superstars.

The Heat are still gonna play and they want to win. Stop stressing over tanking, whatever happens, happens. This draft is deep enough that we will add a good player even if its not a top 10.

I am against playoff pushes too if it means we have to give up more assets.

I wish Bosh never got those blood clots.

So basically you just told me if given the option to choose between a top 3 pick or a pick in the 20's you would choose the 20's... Ok i see.

With Wade gone and Bosh done, the logical move is to tank for a top 3 pick and draft the next hopeful franchise player. If we had Bosh, this wouldn't even be a conversation. Keep thinking Winslow, J-Rich, TJ are elite young talent because they aren't. All 3 have too many flaws. J-Rich i am hopeful for though.

I'm saying there's no certainty with picks. Booker was the 13th pick in his draft and he's outplaying several players who were picked before him. They're examples of this all around the league, why not just hope we luck into something? I don't even know how you guys expect to get a top 3 pick without us winning the lottery. We can trade Dragic but the defense would still be here since we have the best defensive center in the league. Top 3 lottery pick teams are teams who have no defense or offense. We're better off trying to become the Hawks or Raptors and hope we can make the Finals. We "tank" when we don't have anything. As long as we have Whiteside we'll be competing. We're better off starting the tank machine years down the road when Steph, Durant and all the other superstars age and when all the young stars get into free agency.

Anyone know why Williams was barking at Dion during a timeout in the 3rd that caused UD to have to come out and hug Williams?

Was it Dion he was barking at? I remember him looking like he was talking at Hassan after a bucket Hassan took in the 3rd, I think. They looked like they were jawing

Maybe somebody has a snip of that

It was around the 5 min mark in the 3rd during the time out. Williams seemed kinda animated & Dion seemed to say something short out of the side of his mouth that got Williams to talk more. It was right after Williams hit a 20 footer at the end of the shot clock. I looked to see if Dion did anything Dion, but I didn't see. Williams seemed pretty tight tho.

Oh it must been another timeout. The one I'm talking about is a hook shot Hassan made while being doubled. Seems our starters have issues
