Wasn't Kerr in Phoenix with D'Antoni for awhile? Probably picked some stuff up :)

Yeah Chalms. Holy, they'd score 140 per game.

This felt almost as bad as that game against the Celtics in Mar 2016. We were shooting really well in the first half. I'm not sure what happened to us during the break, but the team returned greatly diminished in confidence and execution. I question our motivation and determination to win. Losses lead to losses. It's inevitable.

We are becoming the Sixers, but we have fewer future draft picks. Dangerous territory, people.

Hell naw ****, I was off camera and to the right of that photo. Several rows up.

Oh the women. Lord I love Miami.

I'm gonna go to more games this season to watch that tank, but I refuse to sit anywhere but the 100s. And I refuse to pay more than $50 on a tanking team, going forward.

Tonight was the first time I've seen James Johnson play. He has every single tool in the shed for a very dangerous post game. Speaking of which: where the hell is his post game?! I think the only things I haven't seen him do is pull up off the dribble and play in/from the post (has doing himself a disservice). So strange getting to see that much talent in a guy his size just go to waste basically. He could basically lead a team with his talent and skill alone. What happened? He's not a tweener like Beasley. He doesn't loaf around like Tobias Harris. He seems stronger than most 3s and quicker than most 4s while being 6'9" and 260lbs. What the hell did he do to his career?

Did a search and found this 2009 scouting report;

"Johnson’s biggest issue right now might be the lack of focus he shows at times—making some poor decisions at times with the ball, but also making costly fundamental mistakes as well. He tries to do too much from the perimeter on a few possessions every game, over-handling the ball, being somewhat turnover prone, and settling for bad shots. He isn’t as solid as you’d hope either, forgetting to box out his man in crucial moments, being late to rotate defensively, and generally being inconsistent from game to game and often possession to possession. Johnson seems like the kind of guy who needs special attention from the coaching staff to make sure they’re getting (and will get) 100% out of him at all times, although this could be something that improves with added maturity."

Between the ears. That's the only thing that has held him back. Wow. He should be making max money.

His nickname isn't crazy cheyenne for nuthin', (Had to do research on that). Being crazy, sometimes involuntary, and being a tweener's got the most to do with it. Luckily that's not much of a problem for Spo

How was Weed(Wille, of course)?

Yeah but he's the good tweener. He's LeBron's size at 257lbs and 6'9". I keep mentioning LeBron because that's who he weakly resembles. LeBron is otherworldly and that's not JJ's ceiling. But he should have been a star. That could be why the bulls drafted him with the 16th pick. Has above average vision and passing, has elite, useful ball handling, he is strong as ****, and he's quicker than any 4. According to his scouting report from 2009, he did have a great post game as well as a great pull up. Not good, but great. It was the strong points in his game. But he struggles at the ft line and that could be why he limited his ft attempts. He can draw fouls whenever he wants though.

Weed is a backup center. He's not very elite at anything. On the other hand, he doesn't really get opportunities to showcase his skills. Defensively, I thought he was doing a great job guarding Drummond and making him uncomfortable. But he kept getting caught doing dumb fouls on one on one match ups. Then Spo forgot to put him back in.

Haslem needs to retire and become a coach or something.

Jrich and tj are 6th men. They both lack the first step and it's why they're always running down hill when attacking the basket. Quite talented though. Tj had a really nice block. Jrich started to struggle when the defense clamped up in the second half. That's when you could really see that he couldn't break away from his man without a screen.

We just dont have the talent level or health to compete right now. Motivation and determination are the least of our problems. We have 25 million dollar handicap with Bosh. How is that even fair? You are expecting way too much. This is a lost season. Take it for what it is

I can tell you exactly what happened in the second half. Detroit turned the defense up. Attacked the side that had Luke Babbitt and Wayne Ellington (awful help defenders) and honestly juat attacked the basket. We got outrebounded easily after that. We didn't have 5 starters, guys played a A LOT of minutes. A win would have been surprising.

Why do we have Mcgruder? He's not very good at defending SF and if he's not hitting his 3s, he sucks. He doesn't do anything out there. I have no idea why he was guarding Morris for so many possessions. Sheesh.
