Come on he is the most important player in Heat history. The big issue is not that he took a better deal which was a no brainer move. The big issue is that Wade no longer had faith in Pat. Pat was always like we will take care of you but actions speak louder than words and Wade sacrificed millions for this organization. Just look at Lebron, he is getting the Max not giving up one penny and he won a ring. Durant is now with Golden state on the max, he is not giving up one penny. In both situations two different organizations were able to give star players every cent the deserve and still build a championship team. Here and im not judging we need players to take pay cuts and sacrifices yet when push comes to shove...

Wade did the right thing even though i didnt like it, in his same shoes i would have done the same earlier.

Wade took pay cuts out his own free will.
Did Riley hold a gun to his head? No.
Tim Duncan and Dirk took much bigger pay cuts to win...
The Cavs won because they lucked out and got Kyrie who is better than anyone anticipated.
KD? The other stars on his roster are in cheap deals because they didn't blossom until after their rookie extensions were signed or were on their second deals.
Hell, Steph said that money is not everything and that he would be a hypocrite if he complained about getting below the max.

Apples and Oranges.
Without elite Kyrie, LeBron would have an above average roster and he wouldn't have won ****.

Had Steph, Klay and Draymond not developed into the players they are, KD is still trying to coexist with Russ.

You just want to make yourself feel better because Wade screwed this franchise and took less net money in Chicago because his ego needed him to be the highest paid player on a roster.

I'm surprise on what Wade did.. Really am!! Coz he grew up in the Heat culture wherein you should be careful with your interviews and what you says with the media. He probably know now why Riley preach giving good interviews and not telling in public your dislike with your team.

LOL to what he said "he will opt out to his contract if Butler is traded", coz its a BIG doubt he gets the same salary to what he will earn next season to another team.

I'm sure Wade now appreciate the Heat more coz he's experiencing the difference.

While I am happy that Wade got to play for his childhood team, I'm sure he's starting to see the difference on how the Heat and Bulls operate as an organization.

Damn near everything posted here is a lie outside of the GS stuff, and nobody is going to suggest Curry taking less now. Just accept that the "family and sacrifice" narrative is dead and we have to pay players full price from now on.

Laughing at the drama and indifferent to most everything else. I posted many times over the offseason before and after wade left. I didn't think he was worth the money he wanted or got (and nothing he's done since then has changed my mind). I also don't care to see him back playing for the Heat again. But I'll cheer him when he gets his number retired.

I'm more looking forward to what the Heat can do in this new era for them!

Love our GOAT, but I'm definitely chuckling a bit.

You leave to Chicago for a couple more million, just to spite the face of Riley, only to get called out by Rondo on the gram, along with some other scrubby McScrubs whom suggested your lack of practicing is a detriment to the team? Mind you a team clinging to .500 by the skin of their teeth?

Leaving your core fan base and a place where your legacy was unblemished? For that? Whew.

I don't wish bad, but we all say basketball wise it wasn't going to work with him and rondo. He took the money and tried to spin it as a "I'm coming home" thing.

Would welcome him back here when the time is right, but I am not rooting for the bulls.

I feel no sympathy, he does like his drama and now he has it. Hope giving up his statue was worth it.

Key word: Was... and that is why we will raise #3 up in the rafters.
The chit show in Chicago is not here. Awesome. New headlines daily... smh..

Love to have Wade back for his retirement ceremony. And thats all folks...
