Easily

yeah I agree. 2011 LeBron locked up pre-injury DRose so...

this is easy sweep. Wade was still superhuman, amazing on both ends in 10-11, would lock up Waiters. The only problem that team would deal with is Whiteside. There is Golden Eagleton though, I remember he'd always kill us back in the day

Here's the thing though, the Bulls offense was Rose being superman. The Heat lost to the Mavs who were playing good TEAM ball. It wasn't like Dirk single handily beat us. He didn't have a great series imo. In fact both times the Heat lost in the finals, it was to teams playing "team ball".

That is what this Heat team can do. 1x1 Dragic is no comparison to mvp Rose. However I think 2017 Heat's superior ball movement, deadly 3pt shooting and not relying on any one player makes them a competitive matchup to 2011 Heat. It comes down to can the Big 3 keep up the scoring load and match the energy required to chase the ball.

For that reason I don't think it is a sweep.

We have a chance to win, but that mostly depends on which LeBron we're talking about. If we're up against Prime Wade and ECF LeBron, we're dead in 5. Two HoFers with the occasional Bosh shenanigans doesn't give us much of a chance.

However, Finals LeBron is a totally different story. Assuming we're getting 2016-17 Spo aka Filipino Batman, he'd figure out a way to exploit the 2011 Heat's flaws by Game 2. Having a competent big man in that era was basically unheard of, so Whiteside would be on some '09 Dwight stuff. Modern Heat in 6, possibly 7 based on Wade's fighting spirit and foul trouble.

Never gonna forget LeBron getting punked by the likes of JJ Barea and Jason Terry. 2016-17 Heat against those Mavs would be a fun series, too. McBoob against Dirk! Shaved against Old Man Matrix! Whiteside against...Tyson Chandler?

I think 2017 team has a chance, don't forget how LeBeta played in 2011 finals. That team also had nothing outside the big 3.
