- His trade value may never be this low again
- He's on his rookie contract for the next 4 years

I say we need to target players like Lonzo for trades, considering next 3 years of NBA is wash with what golden state have.

If his dad can shut up and not collude then Ball, Deng and Kuzma for Dragic and the Johnsons would be fair.

I don't care for him, but getting a young prospect would be nice. Could have been ours had we properly tanked that year anyway...

The Lakers are reluctant to include Kuzma in a package to acquire Kawhi. That's one of many reasons to think Mia would have next to no shot at extracting him from LA.

That's the central point. Acquiring young talent on a rookie contract while shedding older players and their bigger contracts who likely won't be part of the long term plan.
