What are the chances of signing Jimmy Butler?

But if the Wolves take Waiters as the filler salary with JRich + 2019 1st rounder, I've got no issues tacking on a 2023 protected first to get it done. Waiters is negative value right now based on the production we've got out of him since the re-signing. So you gotta pay the piper there.

With McGruder playing the way he is, we really need to consolidate the roster. A LeBronless east is wide open. With Jimmy, we are in the game, I don't care what anyone says.

I think that's reasonable. However, I'd want some quality protection on those picks, especially the 2023 you suggest.

I always thought there were two trades that made sense. My dream deal was RoCo and Saric for Butler. I was very intrigued by Richardson and Whiteside for Butler and Dieng. Quite happy the way things worked out. Good luck to you guys. I hope Richardson becomes a legit star.
