Maddening.

Glad they held onto the victory but boy that could of been a frustrating game after the come back.

Have a beer and make some beef stew. Worked for me. I was 120/80.

8 assists. My man.

Our whole unit passes well. It really kept us in the game. Only for a few minute stretch did I feel like we were passing up shots due to it.

I've been advocating an agreement of him opting out to extend him(decline player option, extend 2 years and spreading his 3rd year + extra over 2), basically making it worth his wild.

This makes little sense for us, having 22mil per over 2 years (2021 and 2022) is just as bad as having 44mil in his final year. We still wouldn't be able to offer max money to anyone and we'd be stuck with what we have until Jimmy and CP3 both expire. I'd rather bet everything on Giannis until he tells us differently by signing the extension. He's the last major domino in the NBA that isn't locked up long term and we are one of the last big markets that have flexibility to get him and I feel like we have been making all the right moves to get his interest.

Both LA's are taken Bron/AD and PG/Kawhi
Houston has Harden/Westbrook
Dallas has Porzingis/Doncic
Goldenstate has Curry/Thompson
Philly has Simmons/Embiid
Boston has Walker/Brown/Tatum
Brooklyn have KD/Kyrie
New York and Chicago are unlikely to lure him

Outside of those teams Milwaukee, Miami and Portland are the only teams really in contention for him in my opinion. But out of those three teams we are in a far better position to put a team around Giannis. Dallas could possibly sell Giannis on a trio of him Doncic and Porzigis and make something happen but Porzingis and Giannis play too similar roles. LA Lakers could try some shenanigans and get Giannis/Bron on discount/AD together in LA but I think Giannis would prefer to beat those guys.

It would also allow you to MOVE him if need be, with the 4th year being an expiring contract. Miami with Butler, CP3, Bam, Justice with a stretch 4 would have a solid shot to make the finals for 2-4 years and as you saw last year, anything can happen.

Once again, if Miami is holding firm till 2021, why acquire a 30 year old at max cost? Butler will be close to or starting to decline and cost a lot more money than Richardson would(who would be in his prime at that time). It really makes no sense other than possibly being a 7th seed for the next couple of years to being something like a 4th or 5th seed. You should really look at that 2021-2022 season, Butler will be 32 with a limite amount of time till he's not considered a star anymore.

Giannis more than likely isn't going anywhere(he's a different type of person than normal stars), don't be like Boston holding all your assets for the big fish(A.Davis) only to be a lesser team then they could have been(upgrading their team) for years and then think, damn, we missed our chance.

Agreed, but I think Pat would have done that already if that was the plan. I think the plan is 2021.
cp3 for DRAGIC, dion, jj

No to Dragic

Dion, JJ & Leonard for CP3 and a first

I also like dragic but I think he would have to go in order to get cp3
