Tough loss. Pretty damn good effort without Butler & GG. Came up short in the end. Gotta get Jimmy back.

Game Stats…Better late than never. Got the GT to 19 pages. Good for somethin'.

As much as I want to give this L a pass due to Jimmy and Goran not playing due to injury, I simply cannot ignore the fact that we blew a 23 point lead and lost by 14.
I know that in the first half we shot the ball extremely well and we were bound to cool off but there's just no excuse.

Not too worried about Nunn or Herro. They are being rookies and asked to perform at a high level. You guys complaining about Nunn just look like fair weather fans.

TBF gom, I've been a bit whiffy on Nunn for a while and preferred Herro over him since the jump. Nunn's defense is an issue (not saying Herro's isn't), and his play vs quality teams has been a problem that is likely to get exposed the deeper we go.

I'm still rooting for the kid and hope he can figure it out. But at 25yrs old, this is likely who he is at this point. Which is fine - he's a great story and a terrific find by our Scouting Department. He'd be a great 6th man offensive sparkplug, like a better version of fellow lefty Flip Murray.

In the 4 games so far in the bubble:

7.75ppg
2.50 rpg
1.50 apg
0.75 bpg
0.50 spg
2.0 tpg
21.0 mpg

12fgm/37fga = 32.4%
5 3fgm/20 3fga = 20.0%
2ftm/2fta = 100%

So he isn't getting to the line...isn't making shots...and isn't playmaking for others...and turning the ball over... :banghead:

Its been a struggle. Maybe the virus has affected him more than he's letting on, probably should give dude a break...but we're in a seeding hunt and we need to be better. This ain't it.

Having said that, I don't blame Spo for going with Nunn down the stretch. Herro struggled big time when the Bucks key'd in on him, and a change was inevitable. Given no Gogi or Yimmy, Nunn was the obvious answer, even if he too didn't help us late in the 4th.

Bucks may have been keying in on Herro taking him out of his offensive rhythm but just like Robinson his gravity is just as valuable as his scoring. Also in the past 3 games I would also say Herro has been a plus defender.

I just think to sub Nunn in when Giannis is coming back into the game is a mistake and Spo did it twice in this game. To me it was pretty easy to see that Giannis was going to be aggressive knowing Bam only had one foul left and running lineups where the only line of defense was a foul trouble Bam and Olynyk was foolish. The closing 6 mins should have been
Herro
Robinson
Iggy
Crowder
Bam
Spo admitted as much by putting them all in with 1:45 left in the game but in the 2:30 prior to that Milwaukee went on a 10-0 run and by then it was too little too late.

I'm not going to stress it too much with not having Jimmy or Dragic in the rotations but this Spo's one huge coaching flaw in my opinion is that he has a problem recognising and leveraging his best lineups/matchups in the best situations if he could do this I think he would be the best coach in the league.

Nunn never had 'high' value to begin with. He's a 25 year old undrafted rookie and teams know that. 3 months of starter production wasn't enough to warrant anything significant.

Nah he definitely could have been a sweetener for a team to take on Dion or JJ. People were talking about him as a core piece earlier in the year.

We didn't want CP3 because he's being paid $38-$44mil per year the next 3 seasons at age 34,35 and 36.

With another amnesty coming we'd be in great shape. Also CP3 is an MVP candidate at the moment and we'd be a real finals contender with him
