But hey at least we saved cap room for Giannis by not giving Crowder a measly $30/3 deal

I didn't even realize it was this bad. So that's all he wanted?? Wow.

When spo gave Dragic that breather in the fourth.. i had a bad feeling our offense was going to take a full stop.. dragic was in rhythm all game... but it was all bam and dragic all game... everyone kept bricking shots and youre not going to beat durant kyrie and harden with just dragic and bam... duncan had an awful night.. if that rim was as wide as the ring around Saturn i dont think he would have made the shot in..just a bad night for him...

Theres several guys on this team that im ready for them to go back to South Dakota.. they dont belong at this level yet..

I'd assume Crowder's numbers would be higher if he were on Mia.

For one, he averaged 2 points more last year while on Mia so there's recent precedence to support the argument.

Furthermore, Mia's roster has been depleted from covid and general injuries, not to mention the glaring hole at PF. He would be getting more opportunities to score more and increase his averages overall if he were on this team.

Mia could also use his defense and toughness. Crowder's ability to switch helps the perimeter defense which has been dismal guarding the 3 point line.

I guess it would be the spacing he opens up because he is a 3pt threat? In theory that would make things even easier for Bam.

The real person we need to see back is Butler. I know when Butler has been on the court this season he has not been great but i think thats more of just a rusty start to the season.

The shooting we saw from Crowder was a mirage though.

On Memphis he was shooting 37/29, but he miraculously shot 48/45 for us in his 20 games w us in the regular season. Then he continued at a 45/42 pace for the first 10 playoff games until he began falling back to earth in the ECF. His shooting was terrible vs the Lakers.

Now he is at 38/35 and he is 42/34 for his career. Feel free to miss him for his defense and versatility, but that incredible DRob-esque shooting stretch clouds the minds of a lot of us Heat fans regarding who he really is. A below average 3 point shooter.

We miss Crowder for his defence and grit more than anything. He was the player that did all of the dirty work, he was the one willing to be the ‘bad guy’ and do whatever it takes for the team to win. We currently do not have a player like that. KZ, Harkless, KO, etc etc isn’t that player. Bradley is, but he’s a guard and too skinny and weak to defend small-forwards and power forwards. Crowder was a tank.. he manned up against Giannis and made his life a living hell.
