He looks so much more comfortable on the ball and making decisions once he gets around his defender. It's only two games and it is preseason, but he looks so confident out there. Miami really needs him to carry this on into the season because he is basically the only scorer off the bench (I know Morris can score, but I don't trust Spoelstra to make good use of that).

yes he is clicking on cylinders right now. He is on an adrenaline rush right now, shooting 60% on 3s, so I expect him to come down a bit. I'm glad he is getting the burn to get his confidence up. Herro appears to be an emotional rhythm player. He has the luxury of playing against reserves and hasn't faced a defender who can press him. But getting his reps now should help him come playoff time verses elite defenders like Holiday.

I just checked the box score. Seems Lowry had himself a good game aside from scoring. As always he does the little things such as assists/rebounds/steals and assuming taking charges. How has he been for you guys? Is he trying to "fit in" so the scoring is low? Is it a minutes thing? But he only took 4 shots which is kinda confusing as I didn't watch.

He did have 10 assists, though.

I imagine he is going to be on the passive side, especially early in the season. Miami needs him to be a facilitator/playmaker more than anything. I'd honestly be surprised if he averaged over 15ppg for Miami.

Just looking around the team, we a lot of capable scorers so him being primarily a ball handler and getting everyone involved even if he finishes the season with 10ppg or less would be ok with me. Imagine he upped every starters PPG by between 4-5ppg that would be enough of push the team to elite status. staggering his minutes and mixing him in with Herro off the bench and letting Herro take over would help us tremendously.
