Gabe Vincent is a 2 pack of ass. Riley and Elisburg gonna have to address that back up PG spot with a more NBA caliber player cuz he ain’t it

Do other arenas commonly do the Swag Surf? Or are ATL doing it to mock Miami while beating our G-League team?

Potter is going to be a rotation player for us in the near future in the front court. It’s sad we still have to roster KZ

KZ Okpala is an awful basketball player. China is calling. I’m sure Rex will still be waiting for the KZ game in guangdong.

Just resign Beasley and Chalmers.

I'd 100% take current day Beasley over Okpala. Atleast Mike can get a bucket still.
Potter looks like he has an NBA future as a rebounding/stretch big. Hope we can get him into a 2-way at some point. These are the moments where that UD roster spot hurts.

you guys are cracking me up in this thread, come on now, everyone knew or suspected that gabe and kz arent NBA material.MettaWorldPanda wrote:KZ Okpala is an awful basketball player. China is calling. I’m sure Rex will still be waiting for the KZ game in guangdong.
hell, i suspect that they arent even target practice material either.
FO is expecting the starters to do a heavy lifting this season. i feel kinda bad for lowry to be thrusted in to this position

UD, KZ and Vincent gotta go!
Potter needs to be on this team. 2-Way players Martin and Smart.

Re: Preseason Game 5 - Miami Heathens vs ATL GT
since last year but for some reason FO wants him to occupy an space just to set a record? idk but what i do know is that our PG position is very weak and is going to be exploited by rival teams to the max. watch how the heat reverts back when lowry is on the benchMajestic7 wrote:UD, KZ and Vincent gotta go!

What’s Norris Cole doing nowadays? I’d take him over Gabe

Caleb Potter and Smart played well. KZ might as well not board the team plane. time to Cut Gabe too and get rid of these non and no longer NBA prospects
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

has he really?
or are we biased towards scoring over other contributions?
He's a great defender, and i didn't watch the game yet but he had 10 assists with 2 turnovers. For some reason he's missing shots, but his overall play hasn't been that bad.
A guy like Nunn scored alot but did he really contribute to winning more then Gabe could?

Looking at the heralded Morris, KZ is a confidence boost and an improved jumper from being an important rotation guy.
I've seen no reason to lose hope he can get in together after some heavy reps in Skyforce.

Re: Preseason Game 5 - Miami Heathens vs ATL GT
Ok just watched the game.
1) KZ didn't look good, Sadly I got those Winslow vibes that maybe he just doesn't have any touch/scoring talent. The shot isn't broken but something is just lacking in the overall feel. Give him 40 game in Skyforce and hope for the best.
2) Harry Potter looked solid, he has a natural sweet jumper and a knack for rebounding. Also seem to have good BB IQ. Below average athlete and not big for an NBA C, but he might be able to be solid next to a guy like Bam covering for him. He might be able to provide good size, outside shooting and good positional awareness.
3) Strus looked very good - despite having very little offensive support he was able to score efficiently, often creating something out of nothing while looking comfortable.
4) Who really stood out was, to my surprise, was Javonte Smart. The kid got the the rim at will, he has good length, tight dribble, great first step, and good finishing ability. He also looks like a solid passer, and an ok/good out side shooter. Defense looked decent enough, hard to really tell. Despite being the least experienced player on the court - he really looked like he belonged from the first minute. I didn't expect much be he looked like a real NBA PG/combo guard backup.

So happy to see he is doing well. His dad is a friend.
His brother is a DT for Ohio State.
