Dudes honestly our X factor. When he doesn’t play it’s like we don’t even know how to hoop anymore which is crazy to me considering we were in the finals 2 seasons ago basically with the same team minus Kyle. Or maybe not team but style of play when he isn’t playing at least.

I’ve been wondering the same thing.
I don’t frequent GTs that much, so I’m not sure if it’s been addressed in one of them. But I’ve found the lack of posters questioning it interesting as well.
PTO days
What does this mean? Are the Heat just giving him a holiday mid season?

Re: How has Kyle Lowry been this year?
I severely underestimated Lowry's point guard skills. He has really been a pace-setter for Miami and his passing skills have created a lot of easy buckets for his teammates. I absolutely despise his "old-man" bball tactics (the grabbing, the holding, the flailing around), but the guy has a fantastic bball IQ and can just play.
I am not surprised by his lack of offensive production. He came in as sort of the de facto 3rd option behind Butler and Bam, but Herro has been better than I think anyone expected. Plus, Strus and Robinson have taken turns being the hot hand.

What’s going on with Lowry? Any news? Is he injured?

No one seems to know (Ethan claims he does, but out of respect isn’t saying anything). But it seems like it’s not a BA type thing, or an injury, but more a private, personal matter.
I guess we have to wait and see - likely we’ll find out when he’s back.

Wiltside wrote:Largely in line with expectations. I had projected him out at 14/4/8 on 42% and he’s basically at those numbers. Has had a few invisible games and been a little passive offensively, but that’s expected as he gets used to new teammates and a new style of play.
He’s been good without being exceptional. I think if he can stay healthy, he should remain solid for the life of the contract he has. Hopefully.
He was like that during the championship season where he was averaging 14 pts. He is a player that understands his role, and I think knows that Bam, Butler, and Herro are the guy to score the points. I haven't been watching many heat games though,
