I've seen what you're talking about throughout the year, but for the most part, he stifles guards with his footwork and positioning and they tend to have a hard time getting away from him. Sometimes he gets caught off guard, like in your clip. That guy has been doing that to everyone this year.
But if his assignment was to guard a PG/SG with quickness for the whole game, hell no. He'd be cooked.

He has not played with any consistency for what, 3 years in this league? He is trying to fight his way back. Nothing embarrassing about giving him play time whenever we can get it.
Letting him try to get into a rhythm by playing over guys who he has more talent than but are clearly more game ready, all while we're in the middle of a fight for playoff seeding, is not the smartest thing in the world and I'm sure he understands that. Especially after we kinda tried that already and he was underwhelming, causing us to go back to Gabe.
