Portland-Houston should be its own separate bracket. I want 3 rounds of that series.

I was all excited about the possibility of a Miami/Toronto/Wizards/Hawks second round in the east, but the west is even better! OKC, Spurs, Clips, and Rockets could all lose in the first round, leaving only us as the only true contender. I want that to happen just to see the GB go on suicide watch.

Aldrige is a beast. I love watching him play. He has such a smooth jumper. It looks so damn effortless.

My absolute favorite move by Aldrige is when he catches the ball in the high post, drives left or right, steps back, fades, and then drills the shot (like you see in the video below). DEADLY!

I always do this move in 2k

I'll listen to the guy that hasn't gone about five years since a significant playoff performance in an elimination game. Give me Shaquille O'Neal on that one. Great, Dwight's racked up rebounding and blocks titles. I respect those accomplishments. But how many of those regular season awards have translated into championships in Orlando?

Don't get me wrong, 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks a game in an NBA Finals series is pretty damned good, but 28 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.5 rebounds a game is the sort of line that, assuming a legend like Hakeem Olajuwon is on the other side, is what wins you an NBA Championship. Championships. Dominance. Dwight doesn't do that. Shaq did. Let him talk.

38 points, 16.7 rebounds, and 2.7 rebounds a game vs. Indiana in 2000. Good lord, Shaq. He can say whatever the hell he wants about any center that comes after him with those numbers.

---

Edit: Apparently Dwight DID have one more defining playoff performance, but it was in a loss in Game 1 vs. Atlanta in 2011. The first two games of that series were impressive on his part, but the team would go on to lose the series 4-2 despite having home court advantage. These numbers show me that while a second option may or may not have been a factor in that series loss, Dwight Howard hasn't yet discovered how to leave his imprint in all facets of his game.

Howard 's scoring went up and on better percentages while all his teammates didnt show up is the impression i got from talking to some on the PC board, and the stats suggest it too

Here are orlando's best 3Pt shooter during the RS

1. Hedo turkoglu .404
2. Jameer nelson .401
3. J.J Redick .397

All together during the RS they shot 292-729 which is north of 40 percent

During the playoffs

1. Hedo .233
2. Jameer .231
3. J.J .067

Together this trio that had bombed 292-729 in the RS went

In 6 games of the playoffs... 14/71 = 19.7 Percent

You arent winning any series when your 3 best 3 point shooter's literally shoot half of their regular season percentages.

The more I watch the hawks, I wonder why they dont have Korver come off the bench.

No one has scored in like 4 minutes for either team in the second quarter so far, and he would be a great shooter with their bench lineup.

They have enough scoring in their starting lineup, I think he would be $ here.

Oh well. Go Hawks.

Clear basket interference in the end of the 1st quarter, was reviewed but still not overturned. Just embarrassing. If the Pacers win this game by a bucket, like they did against us, I will be pissed.

I have never seen Lou Williams ever block a shot. hat was a beauty on Turner (former teammate, I think).

I don't understand how someone can be so average and against us is so good. Hibbert can't hit a layup vs. hawks but against us, he was hitting 15ft sky hooks & fadeaway jumpers. I mean really?
