I'm in product design and only looked into it seriously one time and that was a long time ago, so the terms are pretty fuzzy to me. What I do remember was that they don't accept people asking for donations or sponsorships which is what you're asking about. The rules keep getting stricter due to failed projects, for example CAD models no longer suffice for any product pitch, I believe people need to present working prototypes.

ahhh okay. I just saw a dude raising money to make potato salad smh https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/32 ... tato-salad

Honestly, I have no idea how that happens. Maybe they eased up since I was looking at it. I don't have the time to watch someone pitch me needing to fund their potato salad.

The guy spent years in cleveland following lebron. You really think he wants to go back to those winters?

But he never ever has even talked about Dallas and where he is from

Not like Wade and Lebron. I think that is so overstated

And people seem to ignore the difference between a home town and a home state. A home town you might have some allegiance to, but a state? I don't see it. Say you lived in Tallahassee your whole life and Miami was trying to sign you. Would there really be a special connection to Miami because it shared the same state lines as Talla?

I think that WOULD make The Congo beautiful then. What makes Congo a **** hole? Poverty?

Because if that's the analogy, Cleveland and Miami are neck and neck.

Okay???? So why would you highlight only 2 of the various amenities I've mentioned? What's the significance of those, Mr. Seattle?

city bashing is stupid. if you don't like the place you don't have to visit or live there. everyone has different tastes, doesn't make anyone better than the next

I know Wade posted a picture of himself wearing a Heat cap recently and he's definitely coming back. I'm curious though, no offer for him at least a TEASE from the media?

That's where you notice all of this nonsense the media talking seems complete utter BS.

Akron and Cleveland are like Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. If LeBron goes to Cleveland, he'll live in Akron (home). LeBron's house is 25 miles from Quicken Loans Arena and even closer to the practice facility. So, yeah, he is going home if he goes back to Cleveland. I come in peace. Just clearing this up.

I don't think living in Cleveland is bad when you have millions to play with.. Actually living anywhere with millions wouldn't be bad :D

How can a city in one of the most developed nations in the world be THAT bad?

Can we please stop bashing the actual City of Cleveland, so people who live there don't feel the need to defend it. City bashing always ends up ugly and never brings anything positive.

Dude, personally I'll apologize for ignorantly railing on Cleveland. I get worked up when I read Cav fans trashing Miami and Heat fans with that same tired ass "nobody in Miami is a real fan" crap. And if I think they have no basis or business making that claim when they don't know anyone from Miami, then I had no business trashing Cleveland when the closest I've ever even been to it is southern Tennessee.

But most of the fans here are gonna talk their **** regardless of how hard you try to go back and forth with them. You'll make great points and they'll be lost in the ether. This argument is gonna go nowhere for you, just being honest. It'd be the same as if I was on a Cavs board trying to point out to them that, in spite of all the bandwagon claims, I lived in Miami 21 years and every friend I ever had around my age group was a diehard fan that had been raised on the team going back to the Mourning/Hardaway era.

Return to Miami Heat
