Clips have only lost 1 game in their last 10 & have only lost 4 in their last 20

On a good note the road team has taken the last three in the series, with Miami winning its last two trips to Los Angeles. We won our very last meeting by 14pts. Bosh poured in 14pts. Whiteside had a hell of a game but that was when teams weren't really scouting him & he may not even suit up here. But we had 46 boards to their 26 so we may need Whiteside out there if anything for boards. Griffin had 26pts and will not be playing until late January. But they've been rollin' w/out him w/ CP pretty much taking over for the last 8 games.

We seem to play to the level of our competition so perhaps we can expect a decent outing. Always tough to tell with this damn team.

If Clips were in the East they'd be 2nd. I expect a line something like LAC -7 -ish. Line not open yet, books i guess still seeing if Whiteside is in or not.

line is LAC -5.5. Clips were 10pt faves at home last meeting w/ a full squad vs our team pre-Dragic.

So minus Griffin and minus Dragic (but we still a better team than last season) Clips are 4.5 points lower than last meeting.

This line is alot lower than the 7pts i had predicted, especially because Dragic is out. I assume Whiteside will be playing.


I do like our chances here.

Only lost 1 game in their last 10 and 4 in their last 20. Playing @ home to boot. While we've lost 2 in a row, Dragic out and Clips only 5.5pt faves? They certainly may be enticing the public to jump on them.

Question, is now a good time for high usage Wade or should he put away his ego and let Beno and TJ create instead?

If this was last season before the Dragic trade then i'd be on board w/ it. But in spite of Dragic out we still have far more talent in this team than last season, w/ far more depth. We shouldn't get desperate & opt for the one man show, especially when that player may not even be 100%.

But if you're talking about Wade creating and setting up plays then i'm on board w/ that 100%. He racked up 11 assists vs Jazz? That's the Wade i want to see and let his offense come within the team concept.

Man, I'm sorry, but this is a lie, and it's a lie because he just had 10 assists vs the best team in the league and this board had an issue.

He's the best scorer AND creator on the team but y'all want him to be off ball while creating for others and shooting a high % while being the designated bailout when the clock goes low.

He also needs to do all this while supposedly being valued at damn near the MLE last offseason by some.

The whole concept is ridiculous.

There's an issue because someone with a hurt shoulder is overdoing it. He has a crazy high usage since injury and is 9-36 in fg in the last couple of games. Trust your teammates a little bit more, especially when you're injured.

But I can't blame him. If Dragic continues to vanish in second halves, this will continue to happen.
