Herro, Lowry, yurt, 3 picks?

Herro Lowry Duncan Yurt Jovic 3 1sts 1 swap

Give them all the swaps they want, there's a high chance they won't swap if you have KD. Keep Jovic at this point for a cheap contract with upside for the next 4 years.

I believe we only have 1 swap available

TJ Warren coming off major foot injury. I hate foot injuries for hoopers. I don’t want another Granger signing. Jalen Smith should be our guy

A friend of mine had to remind me of this. We just had one of the best players to ever play this game request a trade to our team. It’s going to take time and we’re going to miss out on some other moves. That’s fine when it’s someone like KD.

I laugh at these trade proposals the more I watch at them. Herro is attached to the type of contracts you expect to be taking back(long and bad), not sending out. We have no large expiring contracts. That should be stage one of acquiring before going whale hunting.

We are the ultimate leverage play for about every high-profile free agent it seems. Happens every year

I think KD is going to PHX... Think about it.. If you were in Brooklyn's position would you rather take:

M Bridges + D Ayton + picks or Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson + picks?

Also Herro did not do himself any favors during this year playoff run.. He is a very polarizing player around the league..Until he performs in the post season he can't not be considered a blue chip prospect..He will always be a minus defensively.. He needs to be amazing offensively to provide real value

He’s played in 120 games the last 5 years. We might have been gunning for the lottery with him.

Point is, we've literally lost out on everyone. Not one solid pickup and we lost PJ. Meanwhile the other eastern conference teams get better.

The worse part is that they are unforced errors. We spent 180 million dollars to get get Butler help and got Lowry and Duncan. The jokes and insults speak for themselves. Again this was unforced. This is literally Pat saying, man I think this is a great deal, we got a bargain.

The team is clearly prioritizing pursuit of a star player. So yea, we’re going to “lose out” on some smaller contract players thats just a part of it. A motherf’er like Otto Porter was never going to make or break our season.

A lot of pessimism right now but there's always a chance:

- Yimmy maintains his level of play
- Herro makes another leap
- Bam finally shows some kind of improvement since 2020
- Dipo stays healthy and becomes a productive fit
- Lowry and Duncan merely return to previous form
- Strus gets a little better
- We find a stopgap to start at PF
- Yurt becomes a rotational player
- Millsap

And we get bounced in the 2nd round rather than swept in the 1st

I'm afraid it looks like we are going to lose out on the star players as well.

It is just mind boggling that Lowry and Duncan have these contracts but he’s suppose to be the god father, now the chit is biting us in our azz.

Number two is least likely. Little boy peaked. He doesnt have the frame, playmaking ability or athleticism to be more than what he is.
