Imagine how good the Jimmy and Bam 2 man game would be if he tried to find him like he does Zeller :o

Bam isn't needed

Trade him for a star and then go get a Clark/Claxton type.

I dropped some Bam trades in the fantasy thread, send him for Grant Williams in a sign and trade. We have Yurt and Zeller, no one else is needed there

Brown and Grant package would pique my interest.

Dame is the real prize, though

Bam is trash so I’m not sure we can land an all star or even borderline all star for him but for grant Williams and Brogdon this team would win the championship. I’d attach Duncan and 2-3 1sts if needed to clear some salary to retain Zeller if we can keep him under $10M a year

You are single handedly depressing Bam's value.

If opposing teams GMs are reading this conversation we may NEVER be able to convince them to take the Bam burden off our hands

But is he even better than Zeller and if so, would you rather have 12 Zellers or 1 Bam because that’s essentially the cost when comparing contracts this summer?

If Bam had decent hands, Jimmy would be more willing to pass to him. Bam defensive versatility is so good, that we overlook how inefficient and clumsy he can be offensively.

This! It’s a wonder he damn near leads the league in points in the paint without even being able to hold on to the ball, he’s probably elite at hot potato

And yes he’s horrible offensively, every season of his career he’s been hyper inefficient on tons of shots per game. Averaging 20 is cool but not when you’re as inefficient as him with little touch and only hit mid range shots at the same efficiency as Jimmy Bosh and KG

Lowry and butler play well together. Bam and herro play better together. I agree one of these 3 going to have to be traded between butler, herro, and bam

Relative to his position, his TS% is not that great and his assist/TO ratio is meh. His shot volume has increased but offensive efficiency overall has declined with increased usage

I agree, the dude is terrible and as our center it’s his job to be the floor general of the team. That assist to TO ratio is NOT going to cut it and like I said, he clearly can’t catch and that’s the reason Jimmy never looks at him regardless of how wide open he is. It’s honestly great gameplanning
