Man I was drunk as hell at a wedding and saw Jimmy got fouled down 2 turned the game on and watched his free throws and the cluster fuxk that killed us to lose the game. I was on YouTubetv so probably 30 seconds behind getting notifications on Twitter from the big nba pages saying we advanced to the finals and then Whites basket is called good.

Few things about gm6 before getting into this HUGE Game 7:

+ The same role/undrafted players that had fans calling scrubs, wanted traded & apparently replaceable carried our Star Players tonight in a vital elimination match. Take away Caleb & we'd have been down big early & throughout. He hit big shots after shot. Timely scoring needed, the sorta timely scoring you expect from your star players in these crucial games. Duncan may have missed 2 huge open game tying/winning shots but he made crucial ones to keep us in the game. Crazy turn of events that is our 2023 season lol

- Martin 24pts, 15rebs, 4threes. 50% @the arc & 7 for 13 overall on 53.8% field goal %.
- Gabe 15pts, 4rebs, 3threes. 50% @the arc.
- Duncan 13pts. 3threes. 50% @the arc.

While we've been busy wanting these cats traded, our Untouchable Star Players were 9 for 37 on 24% shooting. Butler ended w/ 24pts but was not impactful until the 3 HUGE clutch FT's to take the lead. Lowry w/ just 8pts & ZERO 3s You can't win vital games like this on the biggest time & stage of the season when your stars & battled tested veteran players aren't delivering.

+ In spite of our stars & veteran players playing horribly & being carried by Undrafted 'Scrubs', In spite of Boston rolling shooting 43.8% from the field, in spite of the horrendous officiating calling the game to Boston's advantage to get the league it's revenue raising gm7, we not only kept it close, continued to claw our way back throughout the gm but we also manage to still get it to where we were up with just over a couple of secs left - It's not too hard to believe as it also let's you understand if this was officiated fairly we may have won the game & were indeed fighting against 8 players on the crt all gm. Furthermore The team that usually drains the most 3s wins these gm's.....we made 14 over their 7. Unfortunately we were fighting an uphill battle in every direction.

I'm not going to continue to harp on about officiating as in spite of the refs the game was still right there for us to take. We still had plenty of opportunities like in the 3Q when we got them into foul trouble early. We didn't capitalise off it & we went from being just a basket or 2 down to losing by 10 by the end of the quarter. Had Jimmy & Bam turned up officiating may not have been a problem.

+ Now, something to consider. The spread for this game was BOS +2.5. Public money was on boston after winning 2 straight. So this may not be the refs trying to get a gm7 but more a way to keep the game close and the only way to do that is to give Celtics advantageous calls otherwise we may have blown them out. Remember we were winning w/ just over 2secs left. Boston won by just 1pt in the end - VEGAS WINS. HOUSE ALWAYS WINS.



So w/ all of that considered, moving forward to gm7, we're actually in good shape to still win the series. Heavy money will be on Celtics after just taking 3 consecutive games and are now back home w/ all the momentum. Public blood bath if Miami shocks the world. The NBA also has already gotten their gm7 profits so perhaps they just allow the best team to win on the day rather than 'massaging' & skewing the gm as the agenda has already been achieved, unless of course it was always to have Boston make history & advance - but again i already argued against that as we almost had gm6 & refs were happy to let us win & take the series, it just happens the ball bounced perfectly for the Celtics. You can't rig that ball bouncing str8 to White for the lay.

Some say we can't recover after this loss, i say in spite of this loss we have good reason to believe we can still take it. Consider we were just over 2secs away from eliminating the Celtics to advance to the NBA finals and we almost achieved it w/ Jimmy, Bam & Lowry playing horribly. Not only does it mean we have the team around those 3 strong enough to compete against this 2 seeded Celtics unit but it also means Boston are indeed very beatable.We ARE the Better team - they have the better talent. We still have the better coach. They've had the officiating. We can still get this done.

The line for Game 7 is BOS -8.5. It's the same as gm5. If it was anything over it wld be worrisome.

The only concern i have is Jimmy Butler & Bam Adebayo. We can do w/ an average Bam & i can only expect it....but we can't have an average Jimmy in a huge game 7 w/ all of our chips in the middle. We were a fearless jimmy away from us celebrating like crazy drunken monkeys as we speak....instead we had fearful Jimmy & now we're all worried & depressed as f*ck If Bam chooses to join the party, hell even better. But again i'm not going to anticipate it.

After all is said and done, we have one more shot. I know most of us are still dejected, but we won two games in Boston. Who says we can't win one more?

Sucks because I'm saying the above with so much doubt. But we as fans have to live with the results - win or lose. Christ I can't sleep. Lord, please help us Game 7.
