Amendment... if we get a kobe or LeBron type player through the draft we will champion again during this era
Or a Wade type, who won faster than both.
I noticed how long it took to even mention his name when he’s the single best player this franchise has had and brought us to relevancy with that first title. But par for the course with a lot of our fan base actually. **** on Wade, **** on Spo, but Dick suck Lebron who spurned the whole franchise and city. Very ungrateful.

Saudades.

Jimbo can lead you to a title but we need more from Bam.

Miami should inquire about Embiid's availability, Spoelstra will know how to utilize him. It's quite possible they can sell Simmons that he's the franchise and get him back by moving Embiid.
A big 3 of Embiid, Butler and Lowry with Spoelstra coaching is good enough to be a serious contender. You can retain Oladipo and Tucker at the very least. Everything should be up for grabs outside of Butler, Lowry, Tucker and a recovering Oladipo.

Someone who's part of the team of the top players(who probably can't vote for their own player) and didn't want to give a real competitor another vote.

Doc Rivers sucks and Embiid looked like crapola tonight. Maybe you are right.

You say he looked like crap and yet tonight he scored 27 pts on 15 shots and 3 FTs and also had 14 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk, with only 1 TO.

Pretty good (actually very good) but ultimately those were empty stats. Embiid disappeared late and didn't dominate like he has in the past. Granted, it may have been Doc's fault but he wasn't a difference maker on offense or defense.

Im slowly coming to sad realization that Jimmy might (just might) be good enough to be the best player on a champion, but Bam isn't enough to be the second best. Not enough size or skill or heart I'm afraid.
Lowry at this stage isn't either.
If we win big with this current team it will have to be with an ensemble approach where a bunch of guys step up at different times.
Or, we trade for a legit permanent Allstar. If we combine Bam and Herro we might get some interesting names.

Wake me up when Strus becomes top 5 in anything as a starter & demands as much attention from opposing defences.
In the mean time i'll leave this here....
Strus is a better player than Duncan, you should be happy that’s the case. Duncan is our only tradeable contract. If we want to upgrade he’s got to go. If not, that’s fine too.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Would make me sick to see bam to because I actually think he recruits us Mitchell and/or Tatum in the future but Embiid is one of the few players I’d trade for him

I mean Jimmy would crack my top 10 and can be backed by many different metrics so I’d say he’s ranked pretty good, but yea he’s not the best lol

I get your point that we shouldn't rush into hasty trades but that so called "top 5 shooter" was a G-leaguer himself just 2 years ago.
And the "g-leaguer" is showing he does have some advantages in the non-shooting skills. Not to mention the salary gap.

Huh... I didn't hear why Spoelstra doesn't normally play Duncan in the 4th quarter, even this month low on bodies it took nearly half the month to go by before Robinson played a minute in the 4th quarter but shame on everyone else for only caring about Robison's one NBA average or better skill.
I'm fine saying Robinson is a great 3pt shooter but the number of points he normally contributes doesn't really say he's a much better player than a "good" 3pt shooter that can do other things better then Robinson. Robinson has set plays ran for him while a player like Strus normally doesn't. Had Strus and Robinson both joined Miami at the same time, I'm pretty sure Robinson wouldn't have near the same contract as he has now.
Also, on getting more attention from defenses, Robinson didn't get much attention most of his first year as a starter even with all those plays that were ran for him, teams didn't prioritize defending him more than just a 3pt shooter because he wasn't established, much how Strus is currently not established.
I guess it doesn't matter past this year, I highly doubt Robinson is on the roster next year, with Oladipo coming back, Herro on his last year of his rookie deal and both Strus and C.Martin doing well it's going to be really hard to keep Robinson in the starting lineup even if he's Spoelstra's personal project.
