People will bring up him making $60M at 36, I’ll counter with him having elite skill not reliant on athleticism and being a top 5 shooter ever.

I’ll also reply with the fact that we’re paying Lowry Duncan and Dipo a combined $60M right now and he puts up bigger numbers than all 3 combined.

This summer is going to be fun

Not gonna lie. The 60 million is scary but if the old man feels this is his last swing for the fence then anything could happen. Lillard and Bam are also a thing you can’t deny

There has been enough rumor and innuendo going on around Lillard and the Heat that we at very least should keep it open for discussion around the pro’s and con’s and if whatever we have even makes sense for the Blazers. Crazy things happen in the offseason and Pat Riley could be getting desperate in his old age.

So because it's a blog rumor we can't oppose it? Strange. Ok im done. I've made my point.

Nobody is saying you can’t oppose it. Just don’t chide or bait poster for an opinion you don’t agree with. Plain and simple. Block poster please move on

Not sure what your definition of chided or baited means and how i even applied that but fine, whatever, youre the ref.. Lillard rocks but if he stays in the garage I'd rather not.

Honestly with Lillard turning 33 and Portland not looking anywhere near contention next year or after they really should be sending Lillard to a destination that gets them an expiring, a young player and multiple picks to start a rebuild.

Yep exactly. It’s finally time now that he’s their all time leading scorer.

Riley might be feeling the one last hurrah bug so anything and everything is open this offseason. Lillard is the one name considering his situation and age that even makes him a remote possibility for our asset wheel house.

His contract and his desire to be here would be our only reasons we’d be able to get it done. I think he’d love to be here. We’re his childhood favorite and he loves Bam

Like the Suns owner did in the Durant deal. Sometimes you just gotta say phuck it and just make the damn move. Sure in jest it looks like a massive overpay for a 34 year old Durant but it shows fortitude of living in the now and worrying about years ahead when that time comes. The Stepien rule is in for a reason. Riley likes picking every other year anyway.

Kevin Love has also voiced many times how he’s wanted to play with Lillard. Even did a commercial with each other lol

Dame is the last aging whale standing for Riley this summer. Offseason will be interesting. In the mean time let’s close out strong with the Bam/Love front court chemistry.

Both Mitchell & Dame have 71 point games this season! Only 8 players have scored above 70. Props!

I'll say this though .. I think Dame is a long shot, if at all ... but Mitchell not being in a Heat uni is downright criminal :(

Can’t the same exact thing be said about us with Butler?

Let’s say we give them a godfather offer, Lowry, Herro and every unprotected pick and swap possible, they can still easily reject it or get a better offer from another team. Would we do something based on a Herro Bam package with every pick for a Lillard Grant sign and trade?

If we strike out on Lillard then yes we should at least see what’s out there for Butler. As for trading Bam in a Lillard package that’s a big fat no. Lillard would want no part of that to begin with.

The key would be Dame wanting Miami. The blazers will meet his wishes
