One of the worst regular seasons to watch.

A lot of us were emotionally exhausted from the constant let downs.

This playoff turnaround has been nothing short of a sports spectacle - an 8th seed playing this well thus far is beyond rational analysis.

I’m besides myself

Same thing with our Hockey team.

I was legitimately counting down the days for the season to finally be over. This came out of nowhere. Good thing I never get what I want.

Me at the end of March ...

All HOFers

for sure. As far as all-time Heat roster, I'm only putting guys whose careers are synonymous with the Heat. I give Shaq a pass for helping bring home the first one, but that other guy aint one of us.

For a second there, I thought you might be talking about #10 and I was about to go apoplectic.

Like I told you earlier

What, that he misses a lot around the rim if they're not dunks or that he has very little low post game? If he can fix that he'll help this team even more. I'm begging for him to add a some footwork around the low post so teams can't switch smalls on him. Just take one summer and work on footwork near the basket. It is nice seeing more aggressive Bam.

Butler needs to continue to work on his 3ball, Bam needs to work on his low post game, you can always get better.

Nah not that. I was telling him earlier people will say dumb **** like “Bam can’t even score in the paint” when he leads the league in paint scoring or “Bam misses too many too close, Zo and Bosh would never” when Bam finishes at a higher rate than both.

People have legit forgot about Boshs play outside of his name.

Your Bam hate has been a little strong since you’ve been smoking on that Embiid pack.

Embiid vs the Celtics (2-4 record): 26-9-2-1-3 on 42% shooting, 19 shots a night.

Targeted every time defensively and was getting absolutely cooked, bottled up by Celtics defenders on the other side of the ball as well. Couldn’t get to any of his spots.

Bam vs the Celtics (2-0 record): 21-13-7-1 on 53% shooting 15 shots a game.

Celtics avoid trying to score on him and he’s completely taken Jaylen Brown out of the series so far. Offensively he’s getting literally wherever he wants, the Celtics have had no answer for him. Horford and Williams haven’t been able to contain him, if his touch wasn’t a little off last night he probably finished with a 30 point triple double.

Man I’ll tell you what, you guys are going to learn the importance of high impact and winning players one of these days and when you do you’ll be far better off from it. Your favorite player is literally the definition of it.

One of them is always injured, on of them always chokes, one of them is older,NAKD one of them has a bulky body that does not look like it’s going to age well at all.

I saw an interview of haslem on lebetard he brought up the fact that he’s still figuring it out. Based on how raw he was when he started it’s amazing how much he’s added to his game. Lots of responsibilities and he’s only 25.

6th season in the league and he’s improved every single season and there’s no reason to believe that will stop next year. He continues to add to his offense and the 3 ball is coming soon.

3 ECF in 4 years as a starter being the 2nd most important piece in all of those runs, potentially another finals trip and first championship this season depending on how the rest of the year plays out and people STILL aren’t happy. Unreal expectations and no credit given where it’s due.

There are areas on the roster that could definitely be improved, he’s not of them.

Do I bump the Bosh thread after Bam had another performance better than any we ever saw from Bosh in the playoffs in a Heat jersey in the midst of a playoff run that is also better than any we ever saw from Bosh? :)

As I said on the GB, lots of overreactions. IMO, it basically comes down to the Celtics shooting an absurd % from 3. The likely scenario is a reversion to the mean and reasonable shooting covers for the Celtics's mistakes/shortcomings....whatever you want to call them.

I won't go through the shooting %s again, but Miami cannot count on Boston continuing to shoot so poorly.

Reverse holds true also. Miami hasn't been great from three either.....and we're talking about largely the same group of guys who contributed on the best 3pt shooting team in the league (started off miserably this year.....came around some post ASB). Lots of room for improvement on that front.

We give ourselves the best chance every night if we can keep BOS under 40 3pt attempts and shoot average ourselves.....just can't be terrible (we shot just under 35% on threes last night, not awful but could be better).

This group just finds a way. Average shooting last night, off shooting nights overall for Jimmy and Bam but get us to the last 6 minutes of a close game and our guys are going to make the right plays to win. Last night Caleb was the difference and the main reason we won. Next game it may be Gabe, it might be Strus, or Jimmy may just go supernova. You never know
