How can this mental midget be the head coach of this team?! Riley needs to step in ASAP or he really doesn't want to coach ever again, and TBH that's some BS on his part too! Thanks for getting us the big 3 and then putting them in the hands of an absolute imbecile!!!

did i mention that i blame the trapping defense for them being tired towards the end ?
i think that's part of the reason why the team misses a lot of shots in the 2nd half.

this guy has no business coaching such a talented team. maybe give him some crap team he can learn on, or move him back to assistant. and give sloan or adelman this team. they might finally get that ring they have been so close to getting.

Spo is becoming Larry Coker by the day. Given a dream team and little by little his losing it. At what point do we step in and take over or do we allow him to destroy this team.

The only way a team this talented plays this broken is if you grab your **** paperboy and tell him to coach this team. I've never thought much of Spo but he still manages to surprise me with how gawd awful he is. He's ruined the greatest thing to ever happen to South Florida sports. Thanks @$@#$@#$#R#$%$^&$%^@#%$#%^$@^%er!

Spoelstra did not sound like his normal cool self in the post game. Ira was asking him a question about systemic problems and Spoelstra was pretty short in his response.

Listen guys, youre lucky right now that we cant use curse words on this website or else you wouldve seen a 4t degree felony in this post.
i have watched almost every game since preseason
remember all this jelling nonesense that the media and heat were spewing at the beginning of the year. BS
they jelled after the first week of the regular season.
this team doesnt have the goddamn cojones or will power to win a championship. lebron, wade and bosh are getting paid to play one half of basketball.
if you can tell me whens the last time you saw a complete game from the heat, id slap youre grandmother and call you a liar because their hasnt been one.

even in victory i havent been satisfied by this disgrace of a team.
theyre learning capacity is that of a lobster with down syndrome. our last 4 losses have been almost identical in their execution.
wade/bron start off scorching. all good and fun, hey maybe the heat are finally starting to get it together. 2nd quarter, spoelstra runs his doomsday line up. (some of you know what im talking about). X Team goes on 8+-0 run. enter lebron, heat finish the half up by 8+
3rd quarter, heat get outscored by 15+, lose the lead. cant buy a bucket, make ft's, hit wide open 3s.....etc.etc.etc.
weve been watching the same team the whole year. they either blowout teams that suck or they self destruct over their own idiocracy.

Maybe he's late for a bus out of town. At least I can hope.

From Ira:
Atrocious. Simply atrocious. When the going gets tough, this team is gone.
And, uh, how about running a play at the finish, any finish?
Enough about who the Heat doesn’t want to face in the playoffs. Any team fits that billing at this stage.

Harshest criticism I've seen from him all season.

Is this finally the straw that breaks the camels back? Every single game is the same thing, we build a big lead and then throw it away. This is either A) lack of focus or B) the other coach making adjustments while Spo does nothing. Rare (if any) are the games where we are the ones getting blown out early and come back late. You can't totally absolve the players because they are the ones ultimately making the decisions to do nothing but shoot jump shots for the final 24 minutes of every game. But at some point someone has to decide if a guy who made no adjustments in the process of relinquishing a 24 point lead, continued to double down low while his opposition shot 60% on wide open 3 pointers, and drew up a game tying three point play for the worst non-center three point shooter on the team is really the guy you want leading your team on the court on a nightly basis.

At some point it stops being Spo's cross to bear -- he's proven over and over again that he's not fit for the job -- and the onus starts to fall on Mr. Riley, whether he comes down and coaches out the rest of the season or finds someone who can. I still can't believe he'd let the season go to waste after what he's built, especially with a lockout potentially wiping out two years of our "dynasty".

This is what worries me. I don't give a rat's ass about spo and have no expectations of him, but I do not want my belief in Riles shaken. There will be a point when the man is at a time in his life when he's just too disengaged from it all. I really hope that time is not now. I don't think we're winning a chip with Spo and there are definitely signs of fractures beginning very quickly on this team. These past few losses have been disgusting, but it could get even uglier.

Listen to Spoelstra talk. He talks like his brain is full of self-help book cliches. Has anyone else noticed this? The cheesy lines about process and breakthroughs and humps. He's a Tony Robbins robot with a touch of Billy Bean's Moneyball thrown in for good measure. He spouts off platitudes he got from Pat Riley without possessing Riley's acumen for Xs and Os or his presence, his aura. He's jut a wannabe, a pale imitation of the real deal. He's the kind of guy that got by in school scribbling down every note, working hard, but never having "it". He's more ambition than brains and you can see it and the players see it, and they don't respect the guy.

Couldn't have said it finer myself, even if i could it probably wouldn't have come up as poetic and insightful.

Yeah. That's been my read on the man. I'd say from the beginning of his time as head coach, the things you've just brought up have been the most disturbing warning signs to me about his inability to handle this job.

Yep  I was #17905. I think 18000 can be reached in the next 24 hours. Especially after that Spurs game. :-?

Edit:
I'm talking about FireSpo.com. There's no way in hell that 90+ votes to keep Spo are coming from Heat fans on here.

HIF is making fake accounts.

Edit: Green font of course. Don't want HIF to go on another "your mother" rant on me.
