Pittman will never fit us. Shaq fit because he was Shaq, but Pittman is just too large, and not dominant enough offensively to ever be productive for us. Since he doesn't give us much defensively you have to give us something offensively.

The ideal Center for our system is the Alonzo Mourning/Joakim Noah/Tyson Chandler types. Athletic, can guard the PnR, can grab rebounds, doesn't foul often, can block shots, can run in transition.

If Joel Anthony was 3 inches taller and had better hands he'd be all we need. But Pittman isn't ever going to fit, and let's be honest if we cut him no one here will be surprised if he joins Sweetney in the Puerto Rican basketball league.

If we sign Lewis that means Haslem won't play much right?

Depends on if Bosh is going to play full time center.

Bosh won't. he'll play Some minutes at Center.

But the PF rotaion i think will look like :

Bosh - 15 minuts
Rashard - 18
UD - 15

But you know, it's really to early to tell. UD could get his jumpshot to be sweet again. Lewis could bounce back in a big way. we could get Camby or another Center. in any case - having all these guys and finding them minutes in a long season is a good problem to have.

Isn't this guy a stiff tho? what is the difference between him and the other crap we've thrown out at center in the big 3 era? (Joel, Z, Dampier, Maglorie, Curry, Pittman, Ronny)

He's 25 yrs old only. For the veteran min, he would actually be a serviceable big....unlike Eddy Curry. Obviously, he's 3rd string Center, but still, it's a young 7 footer with NBA experience we can use.

As of right now, nope.

But we wanted him back in December 2011 after the lockout.... but he chose someone else(forgot which) over us. Then he ended up getting waived and picked up by the Pacers. Now he's an UFA.

He wasn't waived, he was on the roster in the playoffs, he just didn't play

We'll know what moves the Heat will make after Lewis and Camby get sorted out...

Ah, I forgot the exact details, I'd have to look it up. I just remember that Fesenko was a free agent until the Pacers picked him up around Feb or April and now he's an UFA.

Yeah Pryzbilla is only 32 years old, he should still have something left.

I'm still wondering how the Thunder got Thabeet for 800k.

@FisolaNYDN: Tyson Chandler did a double take when I asked: "Do you think the center tandem of you backing up Camby will work." His response: "Back up?"

Honestly, the Knicks have NO HEALTHY SHOOTING GUARD. They have holes in the bench that are much more important than splurging on Marcus Camby.

No idea why they want to invest so much on a backup Center.... feels like they just want to go after anything MIA wants.

So Chris Mannix from SI says that we do not want to include Cole or Anthony in a S&T for Camby?? I wouldnt do it either...let him go to NY or BKLYN and rot out there, playing out his last year or two on a team that we'll beat in the playoffs in very quick fashion...the guy is srsly being a douche over what amounts to just over a million bucks, he's made a ton of money already and he hasnt really done jack since he joined the league a while ago...hes the guy that needs to be crawling over hereto win a title, we dont need to be groveling over Marcus **** Camby, guy talks like hes got some leverage or something...GTFO lets try to bring in K-Mart or Ronny back, or just stick with what got us the Ship to begin with, Ray Ray alone is a winning offseason for us...

your loss douche, enjoy backing up Chandler
